I'll put this in terms of personal experience and things I've witnessed.

My best friend and my best e-friend both are ****ing idiots who ended up shooting up heroin. Because of this, both of them would have to spend like $80 to even get remotely high off of it from snorting it. Just one bag of even poor grade D will get me destroyed, possibly throwing up, and the euphoria is incredible.

Sure it's probably so much more of a rush and so much more euphoric if you shoot it up, but why would you want to? If you just nose it, it's much harder to develop a serious habit (if you have any shred of willpower that is), whereas when you're shooting up, well, you're just asking for a crippling dependence on a dirty dirty drug that you should never put in your veins in the first place. The risks are waaaaaay too high with shooting up to make it practical. You're not supposed to put water or solids in your blood. When you're shooting up prescription pills and heroin, you're doing both of these things. That's ****ing bad news for your circulatory system. Shooting up can also lead to collapsed veins, idk, but I don't think that sounds very fun.
