Since I've been into them, I've missed them playing here in Toronto 4 times or something because they've always been 19+, this one is finally all ages, so I can't let myself miss it.

yeah i think they're super selective of where they play or something. so far this is the second tour in a row (that i know of) in which they've skipped San Diego. which is really weird because bands always stop here on tours.

They're coming in about a week and a half, I just don't have the money. I have enough for either Decemberists or Primus... I chose Decemberists. I've seen Primus before and I love them, they put on an amazing show, but I have to see the Decemberists, they're just incredible.

i was considering seeing primus twice, but idk...kind of a lot of money. 70+ in tickets alone : /

Primus tickets here are about $45. :eek:
Decemberists are about $25.

At least after Decemberists I'll still have some money left over, rather than being completely broke.

I can't say I love the font.

So I went to see Brand New and Dashboard Confessional last night with my girlfriend for our one year anniversary because that's her two favorite bands (not really my cup of tea though). Dashboard wasn't that good since they play like all ballads. Brand New was pretty good though.

That's the idea with this logo, we're only allowed to use a typographic solution. So it's really limiting and I am having a hell of a time with it.

Akira, they're both fonts by Rudoplh Koch. Gotta love the Germanic typefaces. :D

That's where I was going with it, I wanted the W to stand alone. So when I present it tomorrow I will have both logos side by side. I could see the W being used as the roadsign for the place.

Xbox360 - early release, good, lotsa games coming out, easy for programmers, Xbox Live

Wii - amazing control system, nintendo, great looking games in the future

PS3 - ...tried to copy ideas from both of the above, and from all available info, failed miserably at the attempts, will be coming out last, Looks like a grill, hell to program

360 = Great
Wii = Just as great, if not better
PS3 = umm...

I played excite truck, and if it was on any other system it'd be really meh, but on the wii it was like, woamg *retarded arm jerking* in a good way

that curl on the very end should be taken off or changed. it doesn't really flow.

actually i think the original one might look better, just because the red W fades into the background a little bit.
