So, i'm mixing a screamo CD for my friend. What screamo bands would you say are essential for a good screamo mix?

They are post hardcore and are mediocre.

Hot Cross is pretty good...I think they're overrated a bit, though. I was disappointed with Cryonics but A New Set of Lungs is pretty good. Not "OMFG SOOO GOOD" but they're a band I can definitely get into every once in a while.

Cryonics was terrible and A New Set of Lungs was not much better. I just can't stand them. I am waiting for Neeshee to come on and talk about how Hot Cross is the antithesis of terrible and how Billy Werner is his god.

hot cross are awesome. ben we've been over this countless times, i like them you don't. i'm awesome and you're gay. lets just leave it at that. and must we continue to refer to "screamo" as a separate genre? its sick. screamo is no different from emo, i hate how its referred to as "modern emo" and s.hit. anyways, thats my brief rant on why "screamo" sucks. more later.
