i am the robots 11-03-2007 05:14 PM

That whole album is great.

pate 11-03-2007 06:22 PM

Title track and The Eye of Horus are probably my favorites.

i am the robots 11-03-2007 06:40 PM

The drumming on Eye Of Horus is sweet as hell.

My friend Andrew refers to Decapitated as zombie drums now.

C.O.A. 11-03-2007 07:49 PM

fuck your friend andrew.

Slapping Penguin 11-03-2007 11:29 PM

The Eye of Horus has one of the best riffs in it.

The riffs sometimes get a little lost and directionless on the Wind of Creation. Its still a great album though.

I will honest, I hadn't heard Immolation so I bought an album the other day but haven't got a chance to listen to it.

The album is Here in After, do people recommended this album?

Btw, saw a real Autopsy today in person. It was crazy however I recommend the experience.

you should get Dawn of Possession if you're going to go after Immolation.

Slapping Penguin 11-03-2007 11:36 PM

Yeah it was the only other album there but I didn't know much about it and it said 2006 so I thought it was a new album which I heard not to get so I didn't.

As you can tell, it was rather a spur of the moment purchase.

Bartender 11-04-2007 06:39 AM

I like Here in After, but Dawn of Possession is fairly easily the better album. Immolation's always worth checking out, though.

Riva 11-04-2007 06:53 AM

Harnessing Ruin is pretty average actually.

pate 11-04-2007 09:11 AM

HR sucks, but all the others are good.

2muchket! 11-04-2007 09:11 AM

Any other other Gorerotted fans ?

Deth 11-04-2007 10:17 AM

I don't mind them. The vocals aren't great, but not a bad listen.

2muchket! 11-04-2007 01:13 PM

Yeah I'm inclined to agree. The Lows aren't bad but the screams seem a bit half arsed.

Other than that good band imo.

No way bro, his gravity blasts are sick.

Aakon_Keetreh 11-04-2007 03:02 PM

The new Impaled is ****ing awesome

i am the robots 11-04-2007 04:09 PM

Yes.

C.O.A. 11-04-2007 04:44 PM

I d/l the new Impaled but haven't listened yet. Oh and I listened to that Garden Of Shadows and I enjoyed it for the most part. Thanks for the recommendation.

rattlehead42147 11-04-2007 08:52 PM

man i definitely understimated Decapitated as far as WoC, its an awesome album. Nihility is average as hell though.
if i am correct, Winds of Creation should be in my mailbox today
i get severed survival/eaten back to life/elements/consuming impulse/testimony of the ancients in the mail tomorrow, im stoked for it bro.

LifeInABox 11-04-2007 08:55 PM

Major waste for Rattle

Tyler 11-04-2007 08:57 PM

yeah bro im so stoked to get these albums ill listen to once, rate, then pretend to discuss!

rattlehead42147 11-04-2007 08:58 PM

i know, i would've gotten vol. 3 the subliminal verses but my mom said the lyrics were too explicit.
yeah bro im so stoked to get these albums ill listen to once, rate, then pretend to discuss!
hold your horses there funny guy, ive listened to the first three of those albums at least 15 times. i'm only buying them back to have the actual cd. i downloaded eaten on bearshare and the volumes are different and some tracks skip.
the pestilence i've only listened to like 3 or 4 times, on Testimony i couldn't barely get past the first track because its so great.

LifeInABox 11-04-2007 08:58 PM

Jumpdafukkup, Rattle.

rattlehead42147 11-04-2007 09:05 PM

im just too busy rattling my goddamn head.
megadeth = \m/
but i have to write 8 pages of original poetry for creative writing and half are inspired by lyrics off severed survival. i think the title track and charred remains are the best dm lyrics, at least of those i've heard.

LifeInABox 11-04-2007 09:06 PM

Who writes poetry anymore?

Better yet, who still listens to Megadeth for anything other than the lulz?

C.O.A. 11-04-2007 09:19 PM

I would give Nihility a 4.0. I rather enjoy Vogg's guitar work mainly though.

LifeInABox 11-04-2007 09:21 PM

Nihility is really vastly mediocre. Spheres Of Madness is pure awesomeness, though.

rattlehead42147 11-04-2007 09:22 PM

i mean it has its moments but against Winds it is weak comparatively.

i am the robots 11-04-2007 09:27 PM

I like Nihility.

I'm starting to like the new Through The Eyes Of The Dead. :shamed:

What the hell do you have to talk about HBP. Gez when I saw you come here you turned over an entirely new forest in 4 days and obviously dedicated all your time to getting all the "bands" so you could sound elite in here. Don't be so quick to mock others.

Yeah Bartender, if Dawn of Possession is better then I might go swap Here in After for it. I haven't listened to all that much yet but so far I am really not impressed. I am not hearing any "crushing riffs". Rather a series of noisy tremolos follow by every possible power chord being hit in a random order then a yucky pitch harmonic. Nothing that is making me bang my head. However perhaps sitting down and listening to more than 30 secs on each track might be advisable first though haha :p

i am the robots 11-05-2007 01:43 AM

Failures For Gods dude. Trust me.

Riva 11-05-2007 01:43 AM

Dawn of Possession is nothing like that, so I am sure you will enjoy it, Dommie.

Slapping Penguin 11-05-2007 01:51 AM

Bloody awesome then. I will go swap it tomorrow. I didn't want to give up on Immolation just yet after I had been promised "crushing riffs" lol

EDIT: I think I am realizing it. The riffs have no substance.

truth. and wasn't that me who got you into quite a few of those bands????????????

Do you even read the posts I refer to, or are you just a flat out retard who feels that he has to try and make fun of people to feel well about himself?

Who, Rattle, Slipknot?

Failures for Gods and Close to a World Below epitomize the word crushing.
I'm starting to like the new Through The Eyes Of The Dead. :shamed:
I think I remember you saying that they should change their name as to not disgrace the old lineup...lol...

Charizard 11-05-2007 04:49 PM

They should change their name, seriously, Justin wrote 25% of their old stuff, and he's the only original member left. The rest was Jeff and Rich, and they're in FGOV now.
