Nah, Ebay.
Okay cool. How much is it? ..I'm too lazy to check. I went to HMV, Best Buy and Music World today and I only found AYDY.

MRDuCran 12-26-2005 05:10 PM

What are you talking about, the In Your Face DVD I'm guessing?

Well

If you are

It's $13 I think.

blue3 12-26-2005 05:14 PM

Yeah, I was talking about the DVD.

MRDuCran 12-26-2005 05:22 PM

I already have Sixpounder live and the In Your Face video but I just bought it so I could watch it on my tv with good sound, as opposed to the pc screen with crap speakers.

Nothing they can make now will ever sound like the originals.

TL&S is the only one I don't actually own. I don't care much for the covers, but I would like to own any bonus crap that comes with it.

Thanks.

Sebek 12-26-2005 07:06 PM

I finally listened to a few more tracks off of AYDY, even though I've had the album for almost as long as it's been out now. I like it more than I did upon the first few listenings, but it's still not going to top old Bodom IMO.

MRDuCran 12-26-2005 07:44 PM
mastrofpuppets1@hotmail.com

Thanks.
It'll be tomorrow, it's pretty late over here I need to be up soon for work.

A lil' question...

I know Mr. Laiho writes all the lyrics and music for Bodom and maybe Sinergy too, but does he actually record it all, like both rhythm sides, and all solos and harmonies? (i.e James Hetfield. Kirk used to only record the solos and James and Lars would write all the music and lyrics most of the time.)

I'm just suprised that Kirk and Roope don't feel worthless. I mean not writing or recording anything for the band so basically not getting any credit. (Unless Roope does record, which is what I'm asking) :)

Roope probably does record, you can hear the tone difference of the two guitars in the songs. Unless Alexi uses Roope's gear to record, which I doubt that he does.

King_Of_Terrors 12-26-2005 09:21 PM

Julianne, could you send me all that stuff when you get it?

I think Roope records also, the guitar tones DO sound different.

Especially when they have back-to-back solos. I was just listening to one of the songs on AYDY (cant remember which one) and I heard that different tone and thought "Cool, they gave Roope a solo."

IheartSP 12-27-2005 10:59 AM

Kirk Hammet should feel useless becuase he is.

King_Of_Terrors 12-27-2005 11:55 AM

The whole band of Metallica were NOT good musicianship-wise, but I don't want to get into that.

What is everyone's favorite song off of Hatebreeder?

IheartSP 12-27-2005 12:44 PM

Warheart, it's my favorite song by them ever. The mix between power metal guitars and black metal drums/singing is just pure orgasmness.

King_Of_Terrors 12-27-2005 01:00 PM

Mine is the self titled song of the band, Children Of Bodom. The intro is awesome, and the lead is great. The whole song overall brilliant.

Shadows 12-27-2005 01:06 PM

It's tough to decide on one favorite for me. Warheart is amazing, as is Downfall and Bed of Razors.
Especially when they have back-to-back solos. I was just listening to one of the songs on AYDY (cant remember which one) and I heard that different tone and thought "Cool, they gave Roope a solo."
Probably If You Want Peace... Prepare For War. I think that's the only one where they go back and forth soloing, plus a simultanious solo. I <3 that song.

IheartSP 12-27-2005 01:08 PM

The self titled song is one of my favorites also, no one ever mentions it either. The intro lead is pants crapping calibur, and the interlude is pretty sweet.

I agree. My favorites from the new album are Are You Dead Yet?, Trashed Lost and Strungout, Punch Me I Bleed, Living Dead Beat, and If You Want Peace...Prepare For War. The more I listen to the album, the more i seem to like it. When I first heard it, I didn't really like any of them, but I've been listening to it more and more and really paying attention to all the details, and I really seem to like the new sound. I like both old and new Bodom, and they are one of those bands that I can listen to a whole album of their's without having to skip songs that I hate.

Shattered_Future 12-27-2005 01:56 PM

I think my favorite song is Bodom After Midnight. Good riffage throughout that song.

I can never pick a favorite song by them, mostly because they are all good imo, but I can usually pick a favorite for each album.

Yeah, same here, I never seem to be able pick a favorite...

Ben, cool new avatar.

Thank you. It's the cover art for the new Arsis. I'm listening to them now. :)

Forlorn Hope 12-27-2005 02:15 PM

How about everyone post their favorite song off each album?...mine is...
Something Wild - Deadnight Warrior
Hatebreeder - Bed Of Razors
Follow The Reaper - Kissing The Shadows
Hatecrew Deathroll - Lil' Bloodred Ridin' Hood
Are You Dead Yet? - Punch Me I Bleed (Current favorite that changes all the time )

Shadows 12-27-2005 02:18 PM

Woah, I didn't notice we had a fellow Ohio CoB fan here. :) Hello there.

My favorites:
Something Wild - Deadnight Warrior
Hatebreeder - Warheart
Follow the Reaper - I love every song, probably Kissing the Shadows
Hate Crew Deathroll - Hate Crew Deathroll
Are You Dead Yet? - Bastards of Bodom

MRDuCran 12-27-2005 03:26 PM

Thanks guys about the recording question. I'll give If You Want Peace...Prepare For War another listen carefully.

Also,

Something Wild - Lake Bodom
Hatebreeder - Warheart/Downfall
Follow the Reaper - Hate Me/Bodom After Midnight
Hate Crew Deathroll - Chokehold/Hate Crew Deathroll
Are You Dead Yet? - In Your Face.

Shattered_Future 12-27-2005 03:55 PM

Uuuhhh...let's see if I can do this. :p

Something Wild: Touch Like Angel Of Death. Bitches.
Hatebreeder: Warheart (I hate this album though)
Follow The Reaper: Bodom After Midnight or Kissing The Shadows
Hatecrew Deathroll: Crap...Chokehold, I think
Are You Dead Yet?: Living Dead Beat

Shred Danson 12-27-2005 04:44 PM

hmm

Something Wild- Touch Like Angel of Death. I agree with SF, it's teh secks, bitches!
Hatebreeder- Wrath Within
Follow The Reaper- Taste My Scythe
Hatecrew Deathroll- The whole damn album!
AYDY: Punch Me I Bleed/We're Not Gonna Fall/Bastards of Bodom

King_Of_Terrors 12-27-2005 04:49 PM
Hatebreeder- Wrath Within
That is a really weird song. I'm not sure if I like it, it sounds like something they threw together just to put another song on the album.

umosay 12-27-2005 05:02 PM

Something Wild - Touch Like Angel of Death
Hatebreeder - Downfall
Follow The Reaper - hmm Everytime I Die, all
Hatecrew Deathroll - Angel's don't kill
AYDY: We're Not Gonna Fall/TL&S

At the moment.

King_Of_Terrors 12-27-2005 05:04 PM

I haven't listened to HCDR thoroughly. I listened to it once, but I just did random tracks, and it was awhile ago.

NP - Downfall
