Well, sorry to hijack LR's role, but I don't know where she's got to, it's Monday, and Thread 10 is getting downright silly. :lol:

So anyway, this morning I panicked and thought I'd slept in till 2pm. Turned out the battery had died in my alarm clock, and it was 7am. Luckily I'm not doing anything important today! :p

Anyone had any little disasters along those lines?

d@mn i wish weather was that good in england :upset: i dont think we got 26 degrees C all summer, infact it Pi$sed it down all the time! :angry:

At the moment the weather here is awful. The Lune Valley just flooded again, I can see it over the top of my monitor. I have to go down to the cellar ever now and then do flick on the pump.

im just tired, i hurt my ankle last weekend jusping off somthing too high... it seemed like a good idea at the time... i was drunk, i also woke up with a big cut on me back, i dont even know where that came from. other than that im fine

I ache, I spent all yesterday as a porter for some new student accomodation, helping new students move furniture in. Not one noticeable instrument between them.

What do you guys think about incorporating a DJ/sampler style member into the band?

What kind of band are you?

I meant any band.
But in my case it would be an instrumental band of many stylios.

As with any instrument, it depends how it's used.

Give it a go.

Why not try it out for a while? see how it goes? make some songs incorporating him/her/it. see how you's like it.

Need to find one who isn't a dick and doesn't want to sample [i]all[/i] the tracks first. Maybe keys will be a better route. When doth uni start?

they were really tender, can't really descibe it but they were nice, bit like chicken (suprise suprise)

Do it. Give it a go at least. I like a few bands with DJ's in em.

i kind wanna be in a band with a DJ but i dont know of any in my area that would be musically broad enough to get away from rave $hit

incubus use it very effectively, it fits in nicely.
