I was wondering if Joey Jordison uses a wood snare and what cymbols he plays with?

You could ask in the Slipknot thread.

You'd likely get a better response there.

Hey mods, I have a thread idea. Of course like all the good threads it was stolen from Punk, but they have a Punk Halloween Celebration were you act like someone else and take there avatar and usertitle. Sounds quite witty. Heres the first post:

________________________________________________________________
So everyone knows the super awesome holiday we like to call Halloween! On this night, October 31st, all the good and bad children of the world go outside and trick or treat! Some also do other silly mood breaking things like throwing eggs and toilet paper (who would do that, some people can't even afford toilet paper).

But in our punk forum, here on MX, we do it differently. Since only Joshua the 3rd and I have the capability to E-mail actual items to other people, because we're geniuses, we have to be able to celebrate Halloween another way.
We "dress up" as other users. We steal their avatars, and their usertitles!

To make it unboring, I'm making the rule that you have to call someone to be able to dress up as them. Another reason for this is because Joshua the 3rd and I have crafted a fantastic plan to make this MX Halloween super.

So, with that, I call our fantastic mod, and treasured friend - Brain Toad Squirmin like a Frog or WHATEVER THE F'UCK HIS NAME IS!

Feel free to call in this thread or just discuss halloween and have fun because WE'RE NOT CLOSING THIS BECAUSE I GOT PERMISSION YEAHHHHHH.

EDIT: Complete spam is still against the rules cheesewhiz you f'ucking large bundle of sticks.

EDIT2: When I said steal people, I mean either steal their avatar if you want to be boring, or make something better that relates to that person.

EDIT3: OKAY NO MORE RULES DRESS UP AS ANYONE.

People are doing that in The Pit already, though : |

Static 10-16-2005 06:43 PM

Well they're doing it in Punk too, so why not do it here?
Well they're doing it in Punk too, so why not do it here?
Some people already are. I did it last year.

Jom 10-16-2005 06:45 PM

Well, that's what I meant... most people don't solely post in R&M... they're cross-forum posters. My fault :)

Thanks Riva, was going to post that in here. Is there a way to delete on vB 3.5? I couldn't see it.

Stoic 10-17-2005 03:50 AM

How do I stop the e-mail notifications when someone replies to a thread I'm subscribed to? I've already changed the relevant option but nothing happened!

Bartender 10-17-2005 03:53 AM

I suppose that should have worked. I didn't even have to do that, they just stopped when mx changed the layout and options back to what they were before the upgrade.

But my default layout is still the white one  Anyway, I'll see how it goes and report back.

I mean when the actual layout of the forums was changed, not just the skin. All the options were reset to default (sigs on, email notification, etc). Then, I think, mx reset them to what we'd had before the upgrade.

Assuming you're the last one who posted in the thread, I'd recommend you delete your last post and repost the exact same thing. That way you're bumping it without a bunch of "bump" posts.

Yea, I might delete the last 2 or something, heope it doesn't make people mad me bumping it.

I really doubt that it would.

Nostalgia 10-17-2005 09:46 PM

The only reason I think they would get mad because people don't like it when you bump unpopular threads. I'm not doing it to be dumb but It just kinda bumed me.
Question: When people are reported for advertising, are they banned, or just warned
It depends on what kind of advertising they do, for me at least. If all their posts consist of going into a random thread and copy-pasting a "hey man, check out this cool site" type of post, then I'll probably ban them, for example.
