The specialist modules I'm gonna be taking in just over a year's time will be some kinda digital thing and some kinda telecoms thing. Would love to give you more detail but sadly not much more is available :P
That sounds pretty bitchin though dude, us engineers do get some mint module titles - I've got 'Machine Vision' this year coming XD http://www.soundclick.com/bands/page_music.cfm?bandID=870660 Last thing I wrote - 'Ionosphere' - a self-confessed porcupine tree ripoff to be honest. Not even finished it yet. Yeah, I've got guitar pro but I don't like writing with it generally. Hope the UI got a bit of a re-jig for the latest version, really don't like the fact that every not that you put in extends the same bar rather than shifts excess notes into the next bar (which sibelius has been able to do for years)
i would suggest writing your stuff down in some form (i say guitar pro just because thats what i use) but its just good having your stuff written so you can go back and mess with old stuff. when im in a rut i go through all my guitarpros and start messing around and almost always i come across something i can vibe with atm and start creating things. you wouldnt happen to listen to yes and/or rush would you? EDIT: you can get a PhD in composition? |

EDIT: you can get a PhD in composition?
is that a suggestion or a question? |
I miss having time to post in the lod
|
a question
i thought the question mark made that obvious |
a question
i thought the question mark made that obvious
maybe it was a tentative suggestion. People use punctuation like that all the time. Yes you can get a PhD in composition. You generally have to compose a significant work comprising a full evening concert, like an opera or w/e, after having completed a masters and been upgraded. a compositional research degree is basically the same as musicology. |
lots of shooting stars over the country for the next few days, very nice indeed
|
I just layed out in my back garden for an hour and a half at least, didn't see that much meteor activity tbh.
|
didnt even look myself, spent 5 hours configuring all the computers on the hoem network, xbox took the longest, spend ages doing 6565 things, just had to change one simple thing of them all in the end... bill gates is a douche
but its all set up nice and dandy now :) ill check the stars next few days |

saw loads of meteors where i was (~10 including 2 huge ones)
|
It was so rainy last night it woke me up. I doubt I'd have seen anything if I'd looked.
Just got the Gerudo AAA pass. About to finish off the trading sequence for the Biggoron Sword. |
which loz is that from?
|
Ocarina Of Time.

Did you have the seed planted as a kid? I'm playing through this then gonna do Twilight Princess with an online guide, to 100% it. |
What's the point in doing games with a guide? it takes everything out of it.
I can understand if you're looking for like, the very last colectible and the game and you cant find it. |
I can understand playinh with a guide if it's fun, but 100%ing with a guide just seems even more pointless than 100%ing in the first place

Dodongo's Cavern or Fire Temple? |
FF8 was the best game I ever played.
Except maybe Fallout 3, epicness. P.s. I've got a 2GB RAM, 2.3GHz AMD Dualcore CPU PC. I want to upgrade it to 4GB RAM and at least 3.0GHz, which will also require a new motherboard with a AM3 socket for the new CPU. I've found some 4GB RAM (DDR3 SDRAM) and a quad core 3.4 GHZ Phenom processor. How do I know everything is going to be compatible and just work? |
it won't, everything will go wrong and it'll take loads of pissing around. Next question?
|
I thought so.
|
Looking to restring an old guitar and tune it to C standard; should I get 11s or 12s? and what guage should I get for the low C string - 52?
|
Get some 8s, you'll have extra elasticity to do out of control intense bends.

You're hardly upgrading when changing the motherboard, cpu and ram. As far as playing games with guides goes, I'm totally crap at computer games, but enjoy playing them immensely. I'll usually play a game half way through, untill the learning curve gets too hard, then leave it for two years, then play it through with a guide. |
I'm pretty ****ing decent at games, played them for like ever tho.
C standard guage anyone? |
I have a 54 on my 7 string, which is at B and it's a touch sloppy.
