i think i was just caught off guard. the album sounds pretty much in line with admiral fell promises, but then you get lyrics like:

yeah i havent heard it yet, i was thrown off by an interview i read about how it was less serious but fucking sunshine in chicago is amazing, those lyrics are great, that's one of my favorite songs by them
