I like dream theater alot more. Tool has a huge presence if you know what i mean but i think there's so much more playing and stuff in dt!

I dont like DT because of the power metal vocalist.

I like the vocalist personally. Adds a different element to the music if you get what im trying to say.

James la brie or whatever = not powermetal

Hansi Kursh, ZP Theart, the sonata arctica singers are all power metal.

I mean, james has a pretty powerful voice and stuff, but it's not like he sings kinda opera style...

I went to see them live.

The opening act blew them out of the water (Between the buried and me) Dragon force played a big sloppy mess. No song was even recognizable. They are pure **** live.


I dont see why they mess up either. Its not like there music is in anyway technical.
