Guys, here's a poem I wrote. please tell me what you think.


I lost my faith in humanity last night.
I read the news papers.
11 year old child attempts to rape 76 year old woman.
12 year old child attempts to rape 10 year old girl.
8 month old baby is raped.

I lost my faith in humanity last night.
People no longer think.
We went to war to save ourselves.
We went to war to save the Iraqis.
We went to war for an exchange – blood for oil.

I lost my faith in humanity last night.
I watched CNN at 12 30 in the morning.
Terrorist attack on Israeli tourists.
Terrorist attack on Egyptian hotel.
Terrorist attack on a fellow muslim country.

I lost my faith in humanity last night
I watched CNN at 12 30 in the morning.
Went to bed at 1
Went to sleep at 6
Had nightmares.

I hope,
One day,
We all stand before God, each and every one of us.
The world’s leaders are there.
They bang their gavels on a human child.
Stoners, losers, drop outs line the walls of the great white hall.
Next in are the children.
I pray for the children.
Then are there are the businessmen.
They all clench their fists.
They all clench their fists.
They all clench in their firsts blood-soaked money.
Then there is the average idiot.
Baying for blood
Baying in hatred.
All we seem to be able to accomplish, as a race, is new reasons to blow each other up- and the means to do so.

I run up to the middle of the hall.
I collapse,
Sobbing,
Crying, pleading.
In the centre of the hall
In front of God
Stands a woman, naked
Blood smeared on her thighs.
I know she has been raped.
She whispered to God:

“I am the bastard child of humanity.
Please judge me kindly”



I really feel like crying.
Dear God, someone please kill us all and start again.
I’ve lost all faith in humanity.

Well you do seem older from your posts, and me and butler have decided that age/sex are VERY hard to distinguish on here.
