SDRE would go verse/chorus/verse/chorus/WOWHOLYSHITTHISRULES x2, which in turn would make the holyshitthisrules part feel more forced, considering its in there twice, sounding exactly the same both times.

at least that's how I feel about SDRE. most of the songs on their first two albums are seriously great. but the way they structure them make them sound more forced, and less acute. which is sad. (question: does this actually make it MOAR EMO??? ... I digress;) but even if they did structure the songs to my liking, I would still find Mineral's songs way more interesting. Mineral are a very special band to me. The Gloria Record too.

SDRE really don't hold up for me. I'll just listen to The Man I Fell in Love With, Penfold, Three Letter Engagement, Walleye, what ever. I don't think I can mention a single band of that sound that is inferior to SDRE. they are the definite weakest. "Song About an Angel" is beautiful though. if they only didn't have to play it twice...
