I can listen to Winter Madness over and over again but the rest of the album is mood induced listening only. The solo in Winter Madness is one of my all-time favorites.

They're supposed to be recording in studio around September I think. I hope it's not too much like the Odyssey. I rather their older stuff because its more power metal-ly. Newer is more progressive metal imo. Anyone else agree?

That band is generic as all hell, and their vocalist needs serious lessons. They have potential though.

Personally, I'd want a Symphony X album that combines music like on DWOT with the vocal performances of The Odyssey. That would be the best album ever.

I love Vain Glory the album too. It's awesome.

I think that's the only song on the album that I know, the title track. Hopefuly the rest is as good.

I would put [B]The Dragon Lies Bleeding[/B] in my top 10 power metal songs, probably. Hammerfall aren't [I]all[/I] bad...

^ yeah I really don't mind Hammerfall at all. Glory of the Brave was one of the first power metal cds I ever listened to for extended periods of time, now that I think about it.

I need to get more early Edguy...earliest one I have is Mandrake. And that one is pure ownage.

Hmm, I should get Mandrake aswell eventually, then. I've seen it a couple of times in stores aswell. Shouldn't be too hard to find.
