When I was first getting into metalcore, my friend was trying to get me into The Agony Scene. That is seriously one of the worst bands I've ever heard. Unbelievably bad and extremely generic. Pretty much every song uses the same kind of riffing. LAME.

i didnt mind them when i first heard them but they've become pretty stale

Like Bullet For My Valentine? Every single song on The Poison is tuned to drop C, and uses the following frets: 0, 3, 5, 7, 8. Yet the kids love them.
