Well, I'm praying for a snow day tomorrow. We're supposed to have 60mph winds coming of the lake carrying many a snowflakes.

Invicta_Veritas 12-13-2004 06:06 PM

I hate cold. And wind. I live where its blowing snow w/ 60 mph winds on a daily basis during the winter.

Christmas is coming.

Invicta_Veritas 12-13-2004 06:24 PM

I doubt that will change anything.

Cain 12-13-2004 06:25 PM

Awwww....sorry man
Awwww....sorry man
It's okay. I'll live.

munky_magik 12-13-2004 06:32 PM

So what is everyone looking for from Christmas(if you celebrate it)?

lunch998 12-13-2004 06:32 PM

Livewired is from Canada, I think he knows about snow and such.

Bartender 12-13-2004 06:32 PM

A little late, but I've got a Zen Extra too (60GB). They rule over iPods easily.

Also, why does no one ever get the Jenny reference?

Broken Arrow 12-13-2004 06:35 PM
So what is everyone looking for from Christmas(if you celebrate it)?
C.D,s and t-shirts. w00

munky_magik 12-13-2004 06:35 PM

While Bartender is about I just gotta say that Newcastle is a great place, The keyside is really nice and nowhere near as tacky as I expected it to be. I might apply for uni there

Woodstock 12-13-2004 06:36 PM

I'm getting an electric guitar.

Cain 12-13-2004 06:38 PM
How do you get 3 starz
I've been banned twice before getting them. According to Sonorken, I have six months to go totally ban-free before being eligible for four. But they were little bans so I feel like I have four already, and there's a glitch in the system. That is what I tell myself to make me feel better.

munky_magik 12-13-2004 06:38 PM
I'm getting an electric guitar.
what Kinda guitar?

Woodstock 12-13-2004 06:39 PM
what Kinda guitar?
Fender Fat Strat or an Epi Les Paul.

munky_magik 12-13-2004 06:41 PM
Fender Fat Strat or an Epi Les Paul.
ehh...I would go with the Epi. But that's just my preference

jpj 12-13-2004 06:41 PM

I'm just getting a bunch of CD's for Christmas possibly a DVD or two.

Broken Arrow 12-13-2004 06:43 PM
ehh...I would go with the Epi. But that's just my preference
Thats what I tell him every day. :p

lunch998 12-13-2004 06:44 PM

CD's for me too, and a new cell phone.

Bartender 12-13-2004 06:48 PM

Glad you liked it. I love it anyway, but it's good to know people other than me do. I'm enjoying being back, too.

munky_magik 12-13-2004 06:51 PM

The Baltic was cool as well. Although as far as Christmas attractions goes, Edinburgh has you beaten. We've got a whole damn village up here :p

Bartender 12-13-2004 07:00 PM

Yeah, I won't argue there. Decoration's never really our strong point.

I liked Edinburgh, the few times I've been there. It was..refreshing, kind of. The only problem is that the entire place seems to be composed of hills. I'm sure we walked into the city from the train station, going up a hill, and then went back to the station at the end of the day, still going up a bloody hill.

munky_magik 12-13-2004 07:03 PM

yea...Waverly is stuck on the middle of a hill, and you need to go up/down hills to actually get to the trains and up/down hills to get outta the station. and then all the good shops are up/down hills. and then you need to go up/down more hills to get back to the trains

Digital video camera and editing software, collected volumes of Will Eisner's "The Spirit," and some CDs too. Hopefully a chorus pedal for my guitar as well, so I can play some Rush.

Bartender 12-13-2004 09:14 PM

Forgot to answer that. I'm probably just going to be getting money again. Boring, I know, but then I can buy what I want, rather than having to return 50% of the CDs I'd be bought otherwise.

Me and my sister are buying each other presents for the first time in a long time this year, because I've moved out. Now I need to think of something to get for her :-/

xizoesira 12-13-2004 09:27 PM

I'm getting a DW 7002 (double pedal) and Worlds of Warcraft for Christmas.

All I need. ^_^

Why doesn't anyone like Nevermore :(

I like them from the songs I have heard...but I need more. :(

Ramsey 12-13-2004 10:53 PM

You are all missing out.

Sure the guys voice is a bit out of range, and a bit harsh, and hell, its ugly, but you get used to it. The guitar work is almost unmatched, as is their heaviness (with the exception of all forms of Death Metal)

Mekkalayakay 12-13-2004 10:54 PM
Why doesn't anyone like Nevermore :(
I have Enemies of Reality

Their uniqueness relates to how the Deftones are unique; their sound is just... strange and a bit ambient/atmospheric at times. I don't know how to describe it. :-/
