They told us at the DT concert that I went to that they were taking the summer off to spend time with their family, and to work on new material.

DT can produce a record in 2 weeks. They could easily manage it next year :D

Dude, even if Dave is capable of pulling that off, it most likely be kinda sloppy.
Plus most of his stuff is pentatonic so creativity is kinda lacking.
So i must agree JP is way better :p

I was talking about songs like "As I am" and "In the Name of God" off Train Of tought. He has some good moments too like "learning to live".

If you're basing that on ToT then fair enough because all he does is shred on that album. It's completely different on other albums.

Yeah, JP is one of the best, if not [I]the [/I] best guitarist in the world, so although Dave is excellent, it's hard to compete with that.
