Okay but it's still post-punk.
Is it? Anything after punk (AS IN MUSIC THAT IS INDEPENDENT/ALTERNATIVE/UNDERGROUND/HARDCORE/POST HARDCORE from the early 1980s to even the mid 1990s) can be lumped into that "genre" if you want. What's your point?
It's the only one I have. Would Vs be good to get next?
You'll either be blown out of the water by Vs or you won't get it. So if you're interested in hearing Burma at their peak pick it up. |

I think I'll check it out. |

Nothing, I'm just saying that even though you proved that you listen to newer music, it's still very much in the same style as the music that you almost exclusively enjoy. I know you listen to other genres, but I guess most people don't. Also, you know very well that post-punk is a specific genre and not dependent on a timeline. Sheesh, you're almost as bad as people who think that emo means "emotional." |

Their loss I suppose, they don't take the time to talk to me on AIM and get to know my musical tastes and ideas. 2) You knew what I meant and that's why I didn't edit the post. |

What do you think of this? I thought it was pretty crap the first time I heard it but I've since played it a fwe times and it seems pretty good. |
It has some amazing songs on it and the production brings them out better than it does on Clarity. Among others, "Drugs or Me" is absolutely incredible.
I've got this one and Clarity and I've heard Bleed American a few times (I like that one the least), what is Static Prevails like? |

I actually got someone to give me a break from their kit kat bar this week. It was almost like a fairy-tale.

Silkworm
Again. |
I'm listenign to Drew Danburry.
He's a Conor wannabe. But he's cute, and he spent a night with me so I enjoy it from time to time. |

How is that? Read about that on the Anti- website. You should check out Daniel Lanois' new album, since you seem to be on a Anti- kick. It's kinda prettiful, all instrumental, slide guitars and mariachi bands and stuff. Listening to: The Temptations - Anthology Alex Drosen - Sit and Melt |

Mineral Juliana Theory
Excellent. |
Excellent.
Indeed. I've been trying to find Endseranading for absolutely ages now. I've searched ebay for ages and it's not on there although there are copies on amazon for about £13 ($22) and I don't really want to spend that much unless I know I'll love it. |
Talking Heads - Remain In Light
Tom Waits - Closing Time Mineral is nice too. ^ |
Cake - Comfort Eagle
Cake - Fasion Nugget |

Listening to: The Temptations - Anthology Alex Drosen - Sit and Melt
It's pretty good. I kept reading about it, and it has a really cool cover, so I figured I'd give it a listen. By the way, I made a ton of little edits to the mix of my album this morning, so it might make sense just to send the whole thing over. |

On first spin, 3.5/5. It's nice to hear Kasher without Cursive's style of angst but sometimes his whininess doesn't suit the mood. For the most part the songs are really nice. |
Still massively diggin' Tom Waits, along with a couple of new purchases:
Blackalicious - The Craft (finally, it was worth the wait though) Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds - Let Love In |
Hot Cross - Fair Trades and Farewells EP
I've kind of liked Hot Cross for a while now - not really since I first heard them, in a Forced Listening, but since I downloaded their A New Set Of Lungs EP. Only recently have I come to thinking I know how to actually think of all their releases and such though, and I think this EP is my favourite. I like it more than Cryonics, and I think I like it more than A New Set Of Lungs. I like the slight change of style it has. Since it's their most recent release, this means I'm looking forward to their next one (Tacoma?). I'm interested to see if they can make a full-functioning LP. The Wildhearts - Landmines and Pantomimes A scrappily assembled disc of half-finished tracks and mid-creation takes, put together by their former record company and released without their permission, so it's always felt, understandably, like a bit of a patchy release. I just put it on though, and I'm liking it a lot more than I have before. |
Butthole Surfers- Humpty Dumpty LSD
7 Seconds-Walk Together, Rock Together I'm also diggin this new mx layout. |
Good times with The Black Mages. You can't go wrong with Mr. Uematsu.
