Economic pigs
Yes, our amazing economy is mostly due to our amazing music industry. :p What are people's heres opinions on coldplay? |
Yeah, but I can identify that though.
Edit: to miik |
Yes, our amazing economy is mostly due to our amazing music industry. :p
What are people's heres opinions on coldplay?
I have AROBTTH  and it's pretty good for a recent band. Polotik=favorite |
I thought they were british too
But I like them. Reminds me of Radiohead. Dreamlike music. |

Polotik=favorite
I have AROBTH :p too. Although my friend says Parachutes is better. I think my favourite is the title track, tough call though. Have you heard see you soon? It's on a B side my friend donwloaded. |
I thought they were british too
But I like them. Reminds me of Radiohead. Dreamlike music.
They are british, They remind me of Radiohead too, Muse reminds me of radiohead as well. Muse is coming to a pub here and playing for 20$ on halloween. I doubt I'll go see them as I'm not a huge fan, but my friend plans on going. |
I dont have Parachutes, and I haven't listened to much else.
|
Oh ya, I can play the intro to clocks on piano (and the vocal part heh) it's pretty cool, I can play it on Vibraphone too. (sounds cool and you get the sustain sound.)

I've never heard Muse's music, just that they sound like Radiohead. And as for my question about nationality, I thought you brought them up cause they were Canadian too. Hence, my question about being british. |

I'd download some but Kazaa has decided the only song it will play is the son of a preacher. |
Muse>Coldplay>Radiohead
IMO |
Yes, our amazing economy is mostly due to our amazing music industry.
You're breaking the rules.
No, talking back to Badmoon with past reference.
Your music is like Avril Lavigne...it sucks clever ++ :upset: |
Muse>Coldplay>Radiohead
IMO
Well your opinion is worthless.:p Do you see the resemblance between the three? (least of all between coldplay and muse though) |
Muse>Coldplay>Radiohead
IMO
Rusted Root > Miick's mediocre band choices. :p |
You're breaking the rules.
Rules don't apply to grandfathers.......... okay okay fine.... you started it though. :p |
Whoaaaa sorry. I just mentioned those 3 because you guys mentioned them. Of those three, thats how i'd rank it.

Tracks to download now
----------------------------- The String Cheese Incident - The Remington Ride |
I really need more money, or at least some way to get more music.
|
AIM, you hog.
CONVERT!!!! |
AIM, you hog.
ah fine, I'll get it tommorow. They should make all the IM systems compatable. |
I just realized something...I love The Grateful Dead...and Santana's drummer on "Soul Sacrifice" rules.
|
I just realized something...I love The Grateful Dead...and Santana's drummer on "Soul Sacrifice" rules.
I realized both a while ago. Therefore... me>you sorry... :upset: |
They own any band you can bring to the table.
------------------------------------------------- ^Table incase you where wondering. |
My favorite, the Allmans of course, are at least equal with them.
|

You've just relaised this? jeeze you're slow! The grateful dead are great (as is Santana's drummer) I've been showing my friends some of their stuff, but I think it's an acquired taste in much the same way Pink floyd is. You often want to start people off with something Like DSOTM because it's more normal then talot of the other stuff, Just like I think I'd have more success having them listen to A shortish rendition of good lovin or Ramble on Rose then with a super long (more obscure) jam session. EDIT: I must be off now though, bye. |

Don't lie to yourself. :p No, it's all opinion, but we should have a weekly Classic Rock debate comparing to bands. That'd be fun. |
The Who is on the same table with the Dead, but in a very different style of music. So it's not really comparable.

Maybe, but I think The Dead have them. and that's coming from a former Who maniac who couldn't accept that there are bands as good or better. |
That is good, but the Allmans and Grateful Dead would be off limits, since nobody could beat them.
It'd still be fun to argue. We'd make teams, and chat it off. And have two judges. |
