Uhm, unless Roland is English (I don't think so...?), I have no English stuff (bar my cables maybe, I'm not sure where they were made).

I'm heavily considering Flatwounds for my next strings after I've restrung (I still have a spare pack of Rounds), but its a fair chunk of money if I hate them!

pros, well, for my style of playing they suits exelent, my fingers kinda slipps over them so i can reach a higher speed... and slapping doesnt sound that **** on them either.. they are abit more clunky than Roundwounds, and they can last for years if you are nice to them... and i think they have more output(im currently using roundwounds though.. when thes dies i will change...)

How do Flats sound with a pick? I don't always pick, but I do sometimes. And where can I find a set of heavy gauge strings (135 gauge B) which aren't too expensive? :confused:

Ack, I don't like Rotosound. I'll take them if there's nothing else, but I don't see what the fuss is about them. Maybe they're different in Flats, but the Rounds I bought died so quickly. I use Super Slinkies (4 pack) and a low 135 Gauge B (whatever I can find, they're so rare locally), which are pretty quick dying, but have a nice thump after the initial twang. The Rotos just sounded poo.
