Man, I was going to play at a show last night, but all of the bloody townies and chavs were out, so we just jammed at the tea bar.

janyeno 02-03-2005 04:25 PM

Do you guys think Flea's DVD, Spontaneous jamming(or whatever its called), is a good buy? Is it a good dvd?

I have that, I find it very good. you get a small tab/sheet book so you can learn what he plays (when he's not spontaneus jamming).. He is a wise man.

Speaking of flea, I have to say "Taste the pain" by RHCP is the most underestimated song they've done! Check it out!

Left Shoe 02-03-2005 04:29 PM

i donno , but i wanna find out

Left Shoe 02-03-2005 04:30 PM

hmm anyone got a link to this dvd

neal_672 02-03-2005 04:31 PM

RHCP + underestimated/underrated = Oxymoron. They are the single most over-rated band ever IMO

Left Shoe 02-03-2005 04:33 PM
RHCP + underestimated/underrated = Oxymoron. They are the single most over-rated band ever IMO
hmm no i think there is a tie for a first place among
RHCP
Pink Floyd
Led Zeppelin
Metallica

Duncster 02-03-2005 04:34 PM

RHCP kinda are underrated. The fact that everyone thinks there uverrated makes them underrated. In real life and here too. They are a great band that did something COMPLLEEtely different then anyone else when they started, and have grown with their music giganctuanticly. They diserve a lot of credit.

neal_672 02-03-2005 04:36 PM

Pink Floyd and Zep are my two fave bands :upset: I guess it's all a matter of taste. I really do not like RHCP though, especially Kiedies he annoys the fook outta me...

Left shoe you suck.

neal_672 02-03-2005 04:39 PM

Left Shoe makes me

Duncster 02-03-2005 04:40 PM

But only a tiny bit. Like a really small leach or something.

neal_672 02-03-2005 04:44 PM

Small Leech *giggles*

Bass_swede 02-03-2005 04:45 PM

I think RHCP is underrated outside the "bass community". Not many people listens to them, at least not here.. Anyways.. gotta sleep now, it's near midnight, good night everyone!

Not many people, apart from the huge gigs at Hyde Park attended by thousands :p

kilian 02-03-2005 04:54 PM

5 minutes 'till midnight.. means: SLEEPY

Good night MX! And don't forget to save some money for a Roland and try to scare the shi't out of little kids with your playing

Duncster 02-03-2005 04:58 PM

Thousands attend Blink 182 concerts. What are you gonna say next blink 182 is overrated? HA!

ownt

Duncster 02-03-2005 05:00 PM

Maybe thats a bad example...

neal_672 02-03-2005 05:01 PM

My point wasn't that lots of people seing bands makes them over-rated, my point is that they're not just a bassists thing.
