Sup slowlod.

So last night I went for a run at the school near my house. My psychotic ex actually sent her boyfriend over to get in my face all because I parked my car near where she lives. Twas ****in' hilarious.

Squirrel 08-08-2010 12:23 PM

weird

Modern Iconoclast 08-08-2010 12:44 PM

It was one of the funniest things I've ever seen. The guy is quite a bit bigger than me but he stopped 10 feet away and wouldn't come any closer to me while he was running his mouth, he even brought one of his friends as backup. The only reason he had the guts to come over at all is 'cause I'd probably catch a charge if I whipped his ***.

Squirrel 08-08-2010 01:37 PM

I picture you as a moderately sized person, say 5'9 about 145 lbs.

Modern Iconoclast 08-08-2010 01:49 PM

6' 155lbs actually but good guess. Although I've weighed 140-145 since like 9th grade but I've gained 10ish pounds over the summer. The other guy is like 6'1 probably 185-200lbs but he's all tris and bis, douchebag has probably never done a proper squat in his life. He just looks like one of those lumbering jackasses who would be slow as hell in a fight lol.

Squirrel 08-08-2010 03:10 PM

Good god 6' 155 have a ****ing sandwich

Kuffuffled 08-08-2010 03:26 PM

I have a black belt in Moo Duk Kwan Taekwondo, a judge or jury would take that into consideration and it would probably hurt my case because I'm "fully aware of the damage I can inflict". The myth that black belts have to register their hands and feet as deadly weapons is bullshit, but it's completely relevant in court.

that's true but if you've been smashing brickwalls for 10 years you could probably hit someone harder than if you've been playing chess
that's true but if you've been smashing brickwalls for 10 years you could probably hit someone harder than if you've been playing chess
Martial Artists/pro fighters tend to have better reactions than your average yobo, so in reality they have a better survival rate in any situation.

But anyways, sup lod?

I handed in my notice today.
Hmm, I dunno how true that is. I understand your logic though I don't think it's true.

You can't improve your reflexes and reactions; you can become accustomed to particular moves and stances and learn to work with them, but someone throwing a chair at you isnt really the kind of material people cover at Karate lessons.

AG 08-09-2010 01:12 PM

I understand that you can't improve your reactions in as much as you can't improve your peripheral vision, hearing, sense of proximity etc, but you can train your reaction to the stimulus.

If someone threw a chair at me, and I saw it in the corner of my eye, I'd probably scream like a girl and get hit by it.
