Do you bike through the city streets?

If so... you bastard. Crazy bikers were one of the most traumatic things about driving in Montreal.
I have to cycle that way, semi drivers are out to kill me, post office vans are out to kill me, taxis are out to kill me, and pedestrians are out to kill both of us.

Side walks are death traps.

BenJammin 09-16-2009 09:06 AM

Montreal is a deathtrap.

FunkMetalBass 09-16-2009 09:10 AM

I had sex in Montreal.

No I didn't.

wtf?

FunkMetalBass 09-16-2009 09:28 AM

Dude, eBay sucks. PayPal still has my funds on hold. Damn their new rules.

gaslight 09-16-2009 09:41 AM

Stop hitting yourself.

FunkMetalBass 09-16-2009 09:42 AM

Sup Gas?

gaslight 09-16-2009 09:43 AM

Not much buddy, just having some tea, waiting for X Files to come on. You?

funkyhoney 09-16-2009 09:44 AM

Just quickly, why wouldn't you want brakes on your bike?

Free-to-air?????????????????????????????????????????????????????

gaslight 09-16-2009 09:47 AM

Sorry bro, Foxtel.

In other news my Dad's girlfriend's dog got run over today, (fatal), sad times. Mad dog.

Pour 40.

funkyhoney 09-16-2009 09:49 AM

Damn. I need to get that tellyfox unit installed one of these days.

funkyhoney 09-16-2009 09:50 AM

Oh and yeah, it always sucks when animals get run over. There's some ridiculous amount of it around here.

gaslight 09-16-2009 09:51 AM

Yeah man, free to air TV in Australia is godawful. Plenty on Fox is crap too but there's generally enough to find something good.

What kind of tea do you drink? I just ran out of tea yesterday and I haven't had time to pick any up. Tea > Coffee....

Just chillin' at work, trying to write a description of my Carvin without it being anywhere near me.

I'm thinking I'm going to pay $250 and get my Spector re-finished, because I think the matte finish on the bubinga is weak. There are some good pictures of it here (second from the bottom): http://www.basscentral.com/spector/legend.shtml

I want to get the matte taken off, have it stained a little bit, just to bring out red in the wood grain a little more, and then have a black burst put on it. (similar to these drums http://members.westnet.com.au/petrilli/drums/IMG_0152.jpg)

funkyhoney 09-16-2009 09:59 AM

I have all the digital channels so if all else fails I can drink lots of beer and watch American sports. It should be noted that without lots of beer, American Sports are rendered unwatchable.

I wish I could just choose a handful of foxtel channels. Like comedy, discovery, TV1, and maybe a movie channel or two.

It doesn't help that you got lost.

I just get 100 packs of Dilmah extra strength Ceylon for round the house. Not opposed to fancier stuff but that's my like, house tea. No pun.

I've never been a coffee person in the slightest.

Neither have I. Althought I've been drinking about a half of a cup every day at work.

I'm an Earl Grey kind of guy.

funkyhoney 09-16-2009 10:12 AM

I eat dark chocolate coated coffee beans. I think you could say I am unequivocally a coffee person.

Those are actually pretty good, but it never fails that I get one that explodes in a powder and coats my throat and makes me cough.

funkyhoney 09-16-2009 10:17 AM

That's bizarre. I've never had that happen.

FunkMetalBass 09-16-2009 10:20 AM

The Chocolate Covered Espresso Beans? Really?
Neither have I. Althought I've been drinking about a half of a cup every day at work.

Nice, Earl Grey is a fine tea.

FunkMetalBass 09-16-2009 10:27 AM
Nice, Earl Grey is a fine tea.
Yes. It is. Do you put sugar or cream in your tea? My IT Director calls me uncivilized because I drink it straight.

(btw, what do you think about the re-fin idea?)

funkyhoney 09-16-2009 10:30 AM
The Chocolate Covered Espresso Beans? Really?
I dunno about 'espresso' beans. There's like a dozen different brands and varieties here. Even just generic ones are nice, I dunno what crazy **** you've been eating :p

funkyhoney 09-16-2009 10:31 AM
Yes. It is. Do you put sugar or cream in your tea? My IT Director calls me uncivilized because I drink it straight.

(btw, what do you think about the re-fin idea?)
I would've thought that'd make you more civilised. Hmm.

If I do drink tea (and it's not herbal) I have it white with sugar, because I'm a tough man like that.

gaslight 09-16-2009 10:35 AM

I like my tea with sugar and milk, but I do drink it black if I'm out of milk or feel like a change.

IT guy has a funny attitude, I think tea purists are generally opposed to putting sweetener in tea if not milk in general but yeah, I dunno. I think just drink your tea how you like it, that's the way to be, and to bollocks with people who tell you different.

funkyhoney 09-16-2009 10:36 AM

Isn't that just a condensed philosophy on life?

funkyhoney 09-16-2009 10:38 AM

Well, I'm off to bed like I should've been 5 hours ago. Things to do tomorrow.

I spent all my spare change on absinthe and tequila today, my two least favourite mainstream liquors. I'm an idiot.

Yes, I collate that much change at a time.

BenJammin 09-16-2009 10:40 AM
It doesn't help that you got lost.
Was it really necessary to bring that up?
