There's a difference between electronic music and the soundtrack to the sounds of a laundromat mixed with noises from the airport planes taking off but ok.

Bordello 01-30-2008 08:41 PM

ya when i was little my teachers were like well eliminator is a little slow he's probably just a late bloomer and my parents were like "HE'S KEEPING IT DOOM AS FUCK." and they stuck their thumbs in my butthole
From Al Cisneros:

Om is continuing forward with a new drummer and working on a new recording. Please check www.omvibratory.com and the band`s MySpace page for updates.

A live vinyl only LP, Om - Live at Jerusalem, will be forthcoming. This is Chris Hakius` final release with the group.

What the hell

gmoneyguy 01-31-2008 09:36 AM

:.( Hopefully the new drummer can groove like the old one.

Kage 01-31-2008 11:59 AM

That really sucks dick. Om isn't Om without those two guys from Sleep.

And his drumming was perfect.

Bordello 01-31-2008 01:59 PM

yeah he was an awesome drummer even though he used his ride cymbal all the time

Phototropic 01-31-2008 02:43 PM
yeah he was an awesome drummer even though he used his ride cymbal all the time
part of the Om vibe ini

great quote about them from some review

"his ride cymbal doesn't just ring, it tolls"

:) yummy

would be interesting to hear a new drummer though

ZapatoDiablo 01-31-2008 04:00 PM

What is the correct way to pronounce Nadja?

gmoneyguy 01-31-2008 04:01 PM

I say Nad-Jah

Bordello 01-31-2008 04:02 PM

yah that or "nahjah" depends on how lazy i am

Against Miik! 01-31-2008 04:03 PM

I've been gettin really into Desert Sessions recently. Would that be considered stoner rock? I think it would be.
