i think they toured together once... not sure about that. i have heard a mega/metallic song called Hunger. surprised it didn't end in a stage fight if they did.

They did a few shows together in 1993.

I listened to that hunger song.doesn't sound like either metallica or megadeth vocals.but whoever did do it, the song is definately good.

It did sound like Hetfield to me, but it's some totally different band, I remember someone telling me about it but the name of the band escapes me.

Hangar 18 is probably my favorite song by them. I atcually learned most of the rythm guitar's part on keyboard, while my friend handles the solos on a real guitar

I saw that and another song called Buried Alive. I said it was by Megadeth and Metallica but it turned out to be a song by Merciful Fate

I heard some of the tracks off the original RiP and the soundquality is horrible imo. Even if Mustaine butchered Five Magics and TNP (he redid some of the vocals on both of them, right?), the sound quality of the remaster rapes the quality of the original so it's worth it IMO

I just realized that Megadeth has some amazing choruses. Like in The Scorpian, Trust, Peace Sells, I love the chorus for Reckoning Day. Usually I think that their choruses are better than their verses. Except of course in songs like Holy Wars when there is no chorus.

Megadeth and choruses should not be mentioned with out recognition of Tornado Of Souls. :D

Half of the songs on Rust In Peace have no chrouses anyway.

I wouldn't say unnecessary. They did do a good job on some of the albums, like KIMB.
