I have a couple Thursday albums, and they're on Victory :upset:. I nearly fell into the same category as 80% of teens in this country that you described. I'm glad I didn't. I can also safely say that I've never purchased anything from a Hot Topic.

Ah, it's a great genre, check out Small Brown Bike. I Hate Myself were my first screamo band 3 years ago.

Victory Records has 4 good bands, in my oppinion. Catch 22, Steetlight Manifesto, The Tossers and Voodoo Glowskulls. But I [U]hate[/U] the rest of the bands on Victory.

I didn't know they were all on Victory. But I like Catch 22 and what I've heard of the Tossers. I'm seeing them both with Big D and Allister on the 30th.

You're right. Victory is a pretty s'hitty record label other then these bands.

My school has a good healthy mix of hardcore kids, some scene kids and a couple punks.

My town is gangstas, wiggers, and 'rockers' who are basically what you get if you blend hot topic kids with metalheads, stoners, scensters, posers and some other similar groups.

I'm glad that I finally found the version of "we'll meet again" done by Vera Lynn (you know, from the end of Dr. Strangelove). IT's been stuck in my head for weeks. Soulseek was acting weird and the searches were really sucking, but now it worked.

Unfortunately I now have the Robyn Hitchcock song stuck in my head that says "vera lynn... vera lynn!"
