I've been thinking, i wish i could live in a place where i could just walk to the bus stop or the train station and get a train to a town and hang out with friends all day, and like move around of my own accord, because being here, i have to get the car to go anywhere.

We can do that. We can walk across our town in about 40 minutes, from one end to the other. It's easy to hang out with friends. Mind you our town is quite small.
