I went and rented Heavenly Creatures. I honestly didn't think the movie store I go to would have it, but they did.

Every time I go to rent movies, I get 2, and it costs me $2.80

Normally I bring exact change with me, but today I stopped in at work to drop off a shirt I made for someone, then decided to go to the movie store and rent some. But my wallet doesn't carry change.

Today I had to pay the $120 for my course, plus tax. This came to $127.20, leaving me with a $10 bill, and $2.80 in change. I didn't know this until I reached into my pocket to see how much I had, in hopes I wouldn't have to break the 10.

Weird how that worked out, hey?

I love my grampa to death. He supports me and my music like crazy.

As you may know, I got a mandolin for Christmas. That's just over a week ago.

He calls up asking me to play with him at a festival 2 weeks from now. He plays accordion (and piano, but for this he's just playing accordion). He sees that I have a mandolin. He assumes I've mastered it in 10 days. He assumes I'll be able to make mandolin parts for 8 songs (that I've never heard before) he's going to be playing. He assumes I'm ready to play infront of 500+ people less than a month after receiving my mandolin.

I tell him all these things. He says "Okay I understand that. I'll come over tomorrow night and we'll just try going over these songs for an hour or two. Surely if we practice together a couple times we'll get it, right?"
