from graves of valor, yes, theyre really good, i have their ep but i dont think i listen to it enough. theyre like a good version of tteotd (i wonder why)

yeah, where nightmares and dreams unite, it is awesome. also, it's metalcore with actual hardcore in it, which is strangely uncommon these days. they're like precisely 50% metal and 50% hardcore, and 100% good

oh, now i remember why i was looking for prayer for cleansing, its "old btbam" i see i see. its not bad.

Dimmu Burger 02-24-2008 07:13 PM

Mortician is the shiznit.

Dimmu Burger 02-24-2008 07:25 PM

What is Prayer For Cleansing like? Old BTBAM musically?

i am the robots 02-24-2008 07:26 PM

really awesome uber-melodic metalcore

Dimmu Burger 02-24-2008 07:27 PM
really awesome uber-melodic metalcore
Oh snap he dropped the "uber" bomb! I'll have to check them out. Do they have former BTBAM members?

Pete 02-24-2008 07:28 PM

Any Poison the Well fans?

All I own is "Tears from the Red."
Is it true this is their worst release?

I have all of their cds. I would say that their very first one before Opposite Of December is the worst. Opposite Of December and everything after that is really good.

Pete 02-24-2008 07:37 PM
eh, his vocals are the only weak point imo, but they fit, so its cool
its in his delivery for me, kinda like with raised fist and hatebreed (not necesarily the best bands), you can really feel how he's pushing himself to sound as angry/loud as possible, and thats a quality i like

i am the robots 02-24-2008 07:37 PM

on Poison The Well: You Come Before You and their 2006 demo are awesome, the rest is like, good songs and really bad songs.

@Pete: I know what you mean

this is the ultimate in vocal delivery, imo:

Pete 02-24-2008 08:08 PM

yeah, that was a really sh!tty venue

but good vocal delivery, yes yes

(*The Noonward Race*) 02-24-2008 08:13 PM

new bodom is **** but maybe tat because i dont like them or anything that sounds like then

Pete 02-24-2008 08:19 PM

i am the robots 02-24-2008 09:01 PM
yeah, that was a really sh!tty venue

but good vocal delivery, yes yes
Good to hear.

The only Poison The Well I listen to is The Opposite Of December.

i am the robots 02-24-2008 09:25 PM

its got good parts

and gay parts

RetiredAt21 02-24-2008 09:26 PM

I know, but I still like it.

i am the robots 02-24-2008 09:31 PM

tear from the red is better tbh

DJTeeLay 02-24-2008 09:38 PM

Really?
I just listened to it.
The only standout song I caught was "Botchla."

i am the robots 02-24-2008 09:39 PM

i like the song lazzaro

DJTeeLay 02-24-2008 09:47 PM

That song's alright.

RetiredAt21 02-24-2008 09:50 PM

I love the song "Nerdy". Reminds me of getting high with this one bro. Good times. Mad nostalgia.

Dimmu Burger 02-24-2008 09:52 PM

I like the whole Tear From The Red album. I can listen to it all the way through.

RetiredAt21 02-24-2008 09:54 PM

What album has the song "Torn"? That song sounds so cheesy to me.

DJTeeLay 02-24-2008 09:56 PM

Wow, I just listened to a song of As I Lay Dying's first CD, "Beneasing the Encasing of Ashes."
Their vocals used to be a lot better.
