huh??

BludgeonySteve 09-29-2004 08:17 PM

I also convinced them that I was magicbus for a little while.

Well anyway, to sum up. Rock is best with another genre's influence. Whether that be Bluesgrass/country, Blues, Folk, metal (hard rock) or in the case of jam bands... Bluesgrass-folk-psychedelic-some blues... and whatever.

What would Phish be? A Jam band?

guitarted838 09-29-2004 08:17 PM

o sure..you can still be hendrix....um....work hard!

gmoneyguy 09-29-2004 08:18 PM

Phish would be a jam band.

BludgeonySteve 09-29-2004 08:18 PM

I was Hendrix. He was Bob Dylan. Got your **** straight.

Badmoon 09-29-2004 08:18 PM

Yeah, jam bands are usally a lot of things.

BludgeonySteve 09-29-2004 08:19 PM

Crudely translated... Jam means hippy music :D

:smoke:

Badmoon 09-29-2004 08:20 PM

ATTENTION:

Robert Randolph And The Family Band are insane!!!!!

He is a mad pedal steel guitarist, and a Blues one, which is very weird.

Pedal Steel, I'm going to learn that someday.

Seafroggys 09-29-2004 11:03 PM

A page back there was discussion about how long people've played.

So I was wondering...not how long people have played, but how long you guys have played Classic Rock.

I mean, I've played piano since I was 5 (12 years ago), but I've only started classic rock drumming for 4 1/2 years. So I was wondering how long you guys have been strumming (or beating) the good ol' sounds of rock 'n roll?

(I'm great for stopping conversations and adding in tidbits here and there)

Woodstock 09-30-2004 02:27 PM

Bump

To Badmoon: The Robert Randolph and Family Band did Run For Life as a cover of the Beatles?

Badmoon 09-30-2004 03:11 PM

No.
