I'm yet to get Risk. Is it really [i]that[/i] bad?

Is Mustaine out for good? or is he just out until his arm heals? I heard that he hurt his arm and i was just wondering if he's still able to play

ehm, he's been able to play since early 2004 I believe, if he ever had that arm injury in the first place

89.5 WSOU a pretty popular college radio station in New Jersey has megadeth as Artist of the Week. The give little tidbits of news about those bands sometimes, and today they said Megadeth are in pre-production on their new album.

Anybody else heard about it?

You don't like TSHF?

That's one of their best albums IMO. May not be the most intense grinding thrash but IMO it has as much attitude in it as his early stuff.

The System Has Failed is such a great album, it has a bit of every album in it

TSHF I liked, but some songs like [I]Something that I'm Not[/I], I didn't care for.
My favorite song on TSHF is [I]Kick The Chair[/I].

yeah, i don't see how people with any liking for megadeth dislike tshf, i think it's a wonderful album. and kick the chair is probably my favorite too, i belieeeeve it was the first megadeth song i heard, can't relaly remember though

Blackmail the universe is the best song IMO.

i bought SKOM(metallica) and you know how dave and lars have an emotional convo
well anyways i went to the speacial features and and got the whole convo between them
IMO dave looks like he is the about to cry but is holding it in and lars looks like he is gonna cry
but i guess its sad on both on them

yeah it's really moody, that part makes me sad, everyone is so earnest lol

I want one but it has to have TSHF artwork on it, I don't like the look of the plain coloured ones.

I would say you probably wont. People may beg to differ, but that album does have pretty much the same feel throughout. I enjoyed the songs from that album live, but I don't play the cd.

Same here, the only one I do play is BTU.

Why don't people praise The Disintegrators more? This is one hell of a song. Man I wish they had continued with the CW style on Risk.

That's nowhere NEAR the "whole convo" between Mustaine and Ulrich. They talked for close to 3 hours, and Lars was in tears by the end of it.

But because it's a Metallica documentary they can't make Lars look bad.
