Bay area thrash legends EXODUS, TESTAMENT and DEATH ANGEL have all inked deals with Metal Babies, the bay area heavy metal baby clothing company. They carry newborn to toddler sizes and issued one item each to start:
EXODUS - Bonded By Bib, TESTAMENT - Into The Crib and DEATH ANGEL - The Art Of Crying.
   ROFL, thats great. |
LOL
 I ordered a CD off amazon new and used and it hasnt even been sent yet when it should be here by now :( I hope this doesnt go the same way as my Dark Angel - We Have Arrived CD just saw this on Exodus site, hope it hasnt been said New singer announcement I'd like to take this moment to welcome to our ranks Rob Dukes as our new vocalist. He has been absolutely crushing in practice and only gets stronger every day. I know some of you will want details, i.e. what bands has he been in, ect., but I'll have to get back to you on that one. I've heard some of his old demo stuff, but he is a virtual unknown. But he is going to blow peoples minds. He does incredible justice to both Paul and Zetro's material but when you hear the new **** you won't believe your ears. Totally crushing! To all who sent in their demos and such I'd like to thank each and every one of you for taking the time. But now our search is over. Rob just happened to end up my guitar tech for the Megadeth tour after things didn't work out with my first tech. Rob was refered to me by a friend at the Hollwood show and the rest is history. Divine intervention if you will! We will be recording some demos of a few new songs next week and if everything stays on track we will be in the studio recording the next album in April. |
holy shit, cant wait to hear it.
|
Agreed. The so called 'death/thrash' bullshi.t from Sweden ala The Haunted, Carnal Forge, etc sucks my as.s. We want real thrash, not garbage.
I hope you're not crapping on The Crown. They are/were awesome. |
Just picked up the Reign in Blood dvd. I haven't watched it yet though.
|
Nice purchase!
Has anyone seen Sepultura's Chaos DVD? |
I saw it when I bought the Slayer dvd. I would have got it, but I'm on a low budget.
|
Yeah, I have it. The live concert at Barcelona is very good, but the sound is in 2.1 Stereo, so it's not so great to blast out. The other 2 sections are worth ignoring cause it's just videos from the Choas A.D. and Roots albums plus a couple of live songs.
|
Metal-Militia: Yes, I have two Razor albums.
I have three CD reviews in the works, but they'll take a while. I now have pretty limited access to a computer. |
Nice purchase!
Has anyone seen Sepultura's Chaos DVD?
Yeh, my friend owns it, seen most of it, but not all |
I like, need to find more thrash I don't really know what else to get..............I picked up Iced Earth - Something Wicked This Way Comes
|
^^^ Great Album
I duno dude, both Dew-Scented and newer Testament are playing death-thrash, and they're both **** good bands. And Sepultura played death-thrash.. that is, before they turned into a ****puddle
Testament = One of my all time favorite thrash bands. Key albums : The Legacy, The New Order (Flame me! :p ), Low, The Gathering, Live from The Fillmore. So what if most of their other stuff isn't the best? At least it's better thanw what's coming out of America's metal scene today...well if you want to think of it that way. I'm very laid back on music since I listen to a lot of other stuff too when I need to change the mood of music. Argh...anyone have any band recommendations for thrash? I'm stuck on what to get next, whereas I do know about the key underground bands of the thrash era, but I'd like to know about the ones today. It seems like this question has been visited so many times XD |
I suppose for a current thrash band..... Violator would be a good choice, check out their EP Violent Mosh.
|
i thought chaos dvd was great the under siege bit is the best on it but the third world chaos is worth a look too with the songs from donny the home of metal
|
Only been to Donnington for the races strangely enough. Funny when Andreas keeps going 'Daaaaaer' I wouldn't know how to spell it, but it's still funny.
|
thats paulo that keeps doing that, daaaar
ive been to a few races at donny also a few gigs. |
Is it? god dammit, I gotta watch that DVD again.
|
yeh it is, also im sure its andreas that takes the piss out of bruce dickinsons english accent when he is interviewing them at donny
|
Yeah, Donnys top for the races. Saw the Superbikes agessssss ago and met Foggy. Great days they were!
|
Just watched the Sep DVD again and I swear them bastards look alike!
Daaaaaaar! |
i like how geeky paulo looks in the early early days and how metal he looks when there at donny \m/

With andreas trying to say 'fuckin bollocks' in a cockney accent    , He says quite cheekily aswell which adds to the humour.
i like how geeky paulo looks in the early early days and how metal he looks when there at donny \m/
Very geeky in the early days compared to max, igor and andreas. Is it just me or was he beginning to look like Dimebag in later years, when he played live on that DVD with them (Pantera, very small scene with Phil on about max braking his ankle? ) I could only tell them apart by instrument  NP: Slayer - Postmortem |

VIOLATOR FU.CKING OWN! Get the Violent Mosh EP as fast as you can! But the best modern thrash I have heard is probably Hypnosia's Extreme Hatred! Get it all! :p |
