Figure I could be successful as an elephant breeder?

Sablate McNuff 04-11-2009 12:12 AM

Elephant breeding is a big market these days. It's somewhere in between Apple and Microsoft as far as profit is concerned. :P

DaveSavesTheDay 04-11-2009 12:29 AM

This is what I figured.

Maybe I could get a bailout from your government :)
sweet what movie home dawg
First-person zombie film. You see what it sees. I've suggested to the director that the zombie be in a wheelchair, just for awkwardness.

Spaceman Spiff 04-11-2009 08:50 AM

Speaking of awkward, I saw a guy in a wheelchair the other day who was using one hand to roll himself along... but then I looked down at his feet, and he was also using his feet to walk on the ground and propel himself forward! What the hell?

Must be awkward for the guy. Some people have got some use of their legs but not the kind of strength to actually stand on them. Must get a heck of a lot of weird looks.

Foxfire 04-11-2009 11:21 AM

Hey dawgs.

HI EVERYONE

DaveSavesTheDay 04-11-2009 03:21 PM

They don't go by as fast as they use to; no numbers required anymore.

burtonbassist_102 04-11-2009 03:55 PM

i got my tax return in.

life is good. :)

DaveSavesTheDay 04-11-2009 03:57 PM

I'm still waiting on mine.

Not much - only $450 - but considering I was expecting to pay I'll take it

Efrim 04-11-2009 11:40 PM

Mine is 330, so enjoy.
Slow, longtime work is fun, but bad returns. i guess it just doesn't really matter, though.

DaveSavesTheDay 04-11-2009 11:43 PM

I made the mistake of mailing mine in so I should probably anticipate another few weeks.

Just check it through the CRA's website and all it will tell me without registering is that "Your 2008 return was assessed. "

So who knows what the hell that means. Knowing my luck I screwed up somewhere and I'm getting audited.

burtonbassist_102 04-12-2009 04:00 AM

mine's a nice $900 or so.

at least i have rent taken care of until the end of my lease.

What's up?

Spaceman Spiff 04-12-2009 11:21 AM

COD4 is up.

Efrim 04-12-2009 11:28 AM

I played that. I sucked. I suck at most video games.

Spaceman Spiff 04-12-2009 11:29 AM
I played that. I sucked. I suck at most video games.
I don't play video games too much these days, but it's a wicked shooter, which I dig.

And I'm definitely getting Final Fantasy XIII when it comes out.

Efrim 04-12-2009 11:33 AM

I played and finished Bioshock a few months ago. THAT was a great game.

I played a bunch of that at my friend's house. It was an awesome game. Isn't a new one coming out soon?

Yeah, and it looks just as good.

I wish i had a better computer to run it on though, its such a shame to play on a lower quality.
What's new spiff?

Spaceman Spiff 04-12-2009 12:09 PM

Just working and playing music.

We were auditioning this singer, the problem is that she's 17-18 and acts like it. She's proven that she is a good singer and is capable, she's just not someone that we'd want to spend extended periods of time with. We'll see what happens..

And what's happening with you, Jesse?

PaulSimonon 04-12-2009 12:14 PM

Eyyyy.

Efrim 04-12-2009 12:19 PM

That sounds cool, I didn't know you were looking a femsinger.
So you mean she is immature? what kind of 17-18 year old behaviour are we talking about here?

I've finished basically all of my final assignments and essays, and now I have basically nothing to do until my last final on the 29th. I finally signed a lease for an apartment next year, which looks like its going to be fantastic. I'm just turning into a reading machine in my spare time now, since I have not much else to do.

Either a male or female would be fine, we've auditioned both sexes. I don't know exactly what to say about her... immature is a good word. No crazy or stupid behaviour or anything, just someone I couldn't click with mentally... kind of annoying, too.

Good stuff with school and the apartment. What are your plans for this summer?

I've been reading a ton, too, with my job. I get 4 hours of down time out of my 8 hour shift, so I just sit and read.

Ben, please bring me beer.

I'm going to take you to my favourite beer store.

Kill her, wear her face as a mask, and audition with your band again.
Or learn to live with her, either will do.
I'm waiting to hear back from several research jobs in Calgary. Thing is, all my friends have left, so I'm going to be all alone for the summer. I'm going to take up hiking in a big way, try some woodworking, and even more reading.

I've got a class next year that I don't have the prerequisites for, so I'll have to study up to get to the right level.
Jobs with downtime rule.
Ben, please bring me beer.

Excellent.

What are your favorite kinds?

I can bring any of these varieties, for sure: amber, IPA, best bitter, stout, porter, irish red

These, maybe (they're seasonal): light wheat beer, dark wheat beer, maple cream ale, winter warmer

Let me know your top 4 preferences, and I'll do what I can.

Efrim 04-12-2009 01:12 PM

I love bitters and IPAs, and if you can get me a good stout then by all means do so. Same for the porter.

I've stopped going to bars lately, because I just want to try every single beer I see in stores. Which is a problem, because my favourite store has like 200 kinds or something.

Done and done. All 4 of those will be no problem to get.

I've tried about 75% of the beer at our liquor store.

I'd pretty much done that in Calgary, but now I'm basically back to square one again with these Quebec beers.

Oh, have you ever heard of Rogue beer?

I've heard of it, but never had. I've only had a couple of Quebec beers. Something with a horse on it (lawl), and BierBrier.
