I have to get up tomorrow and was fast asleep well before eleven.

When what should happen but my roommate—who can't chew with his ****ing mouth shut like a civilized human being—opens up a bag of chips and starts munching away.

Mind you my dorm is made of ****ing pistachio green concrete blocks so the noise is nothing less than deafening in here.

My dad told me I would eventually get over other people's eating noises but suffice it to say that loud open-mouthed chewing is one of the only sounds that can wake me from a sound sleep these days. (Small arms fire is not one of these sounds—I used to live in a fairly blighted urban area.)

Now that the demonic ruminations of a many-tentacled Lovecraftian cow have awakened deep anguish and violent madness in my mind, not to mention the fact that the first-semester Plebeian ****s howl at each other out in the hallway well into the early morning, how am I supposed to go back to sleep now?

well this paper had to have proofs, greek letters, diagrams, and stuff so i guess he felt it would be easier for us to do it handwritten. i would of preferred regular letters over cursive though

In case you haven't used LaTeX before, Wikipedia's math mode uses it, as well as Mathematica, etc. Makes math formatting piss easy and FAST to type, once you learn it.

Learning all the symbols can be a pain in the *** because their names aren't always intuitive, e.g. \cup for the union symbol, and then \vee for Boolean or. It's annoying.
