^ I didn't think I was but apparently I am, so that's a huge relief.

It was an electrical fire that started in the room next to mine...something about wirens smoldering and burning.

Chris: Yeah, that song's catchy as hell.

You said we were an accident
With accidents you'll never know what could have been
Said we were am accident
You'll always be my favorite one

Psh, that's not your fault at all. If you had fire insurance there'd be no reason why you wouldn't get any for that.

People are silly when they get overly excited :smash: :smash:

Pop Tarts are so amazing. I was driving around at like 330 am coming back from my friend's house and I stopped to get gas. I went in to pay the dude before pumping but I saw a stray box of Pop Tarts so I bought them. They were the blueberry ones.

I've never been happier while pumping gas.

Chris: I can't get into MwY...dunno why. :(
Jon, you don't listen to music with any emotional depth.
Because I don't listen to music for emotion, I listen to music for...you know...music or something...

Since when was having a shakey, off-key voice interpreted as being emotional?

DJ Ducksauce 03-14-2006 08:45 PM

MwY is decent. I can't get into them much either.

The lyrics and the vocal delivery placed over the music they create is alot more emotional than JUN JUN TECH METAL JUN.

'Sort of' is such a harmless thing to say. Sort of. It's just a filler. Sort of - it doesn't really mean anything. But after certain things, sort of means everything. Like after "I love you" or "You're going to live."

I never said it wasn't.

I said that I don't care.

Emotional music does not mean good music. I don't listen to music that isn't good.

You've spent too much time in the emo/screamo thread. Lolz @ thinking emotion is important in music

Eh, people look for different stuff in music I suppose. I just find listening to music for shredding or technicality to be incredibly boring. Which is why tech metal is one of my least favorite genres.

bottlerocket 03-14-2006 08:58 PM

Tech metal sucks.

I like parties, but I don't like pinatas. Becaus the pinata promotes violence against flamboyant animals. Hey, there's a donkey with some pizzaz. Let's kick its ***. What I'm trying to say is, don't make the same Halloween costume mistake that I did.

Says the dude who's joining an extremely techy tech metal grind band. Yeah okay.

The only tech metal band I actually am fond of (as opposed to just indifferent to) is Into The Moat. I don't know where you got it that I'm a tech head. I think a metalcore band is improved by some techish parts, though. All around tech is boring.

I will listen to meh band because of shredding, like John Mayer, but it's by no means a deal breaker. Case in point, http://purevolume.com/emberghost. Listen to My Purple Heart. Terrible as far as talent goes, but it's catchy as hell and I love the hook. "Well I'm tired now, and I'm sorry, but a good night's rest is my only friend tonight".

Misery Signals is melodic and beautiful, and they're hardly techy.

YOU'RE THE ONE WHO TRIED TO GET A HOLD OF ME FOR WEEKS TO TELL ME HOW GOOD WINDS OF PLAGUE IS!!!!

Hahahahaha, oh well. :p

Cluadio is hyped up. He's good, but he's pretentious. There is no possible reason for him to have a double guitar. At all.

Besides that it makes him look more talented.

True. It does look awesome though. But yeah, only playing 2 chords on the 12 string neck is kinda dumb.
