Why can't you accept the fact that they use massive amounts of drugs? You'll be hardpressed to find a band that doesn't use drugs...especially when dealing with jam bands.
I don't believe in associating Jam bands with drugs, because in the case of Phish it's not what they are all about. However, Split Open and Melt has provided solid evidence that they still do drugs, which I'm fine with because I do too. I have no problem with drugs if that's what you think. |
Tomorrow night on one of my PBS stations Derek Trucks, The Codetalkers, and Jeff Lang are gonna be on so you might want to see if it's on around you.
Derek Trucks = sex. Do you know what the program is called?
Mountain Stage, I think it might only be a West Virginia thing, though. |

I saw OAR last night...good live show. I know hardly anyone respects them as musicians but their concerts are just god**** fun, its lively music and everyones intoxicated havin' a good time. It's like a sloppy DMB concert.

My brother (OAR fanboy) has a live DVD of them, and they do seem like they'd be fun to see live. |
Yeah they have some fanboys I could tell from the concert...I could never be an active fan of these guys, but I'd never pass up an oppourtunity to see them live.
AND!!! Chicks dig them :thumb: |
Any Dispatch fans? I own Bang Bang, I liked "The General" and "Whirlwind" and "Out Loud" so I stole it (my first stolen CD :)...first of MANY, it was easy) and I actually like it. I'm going to get Silent Steeples next. I have no chance of seeing them live though :(, I think they ended kind of abruptly.

The founders of Little Feat were previous members of The Mothers of Invention. (Lowell George and Roy Estrada) I saw them in concert this past summer and was somewhat disappointed. |
