Rage is just an amazing band. Musically they get use thier sound to drive home the point they are trying to make and use alot of dynamics to achieve this. I would have LOVED to have been able to go to some of the "Super Shows" in the early 90's when Rage and Tool were not as big as they are to watch thier shows. Amazing band.

yep, happens every so often. :thumb: The Neighbour Of The Beast |
I thought Live at the Olympus was abit annoying because they miced the drums realy badly.
I also consider rage as more of a pollitical funk metal band....... |

The guitar that has the "Arm the Homeless" thing on it is an Ibanez guitar, if I am not mistaken. |

My favorite guitar that Tom has is the black Fender Telecaster that he plays the songs in Drop D in. That guitar is awesome. And if any of you have the self titled DVD, you can see in the Killing in the Name live performance the silver Telecaster. That thing looks awesome. |
Ahhh... RATM awesome rebel band :thumb: Also easily one of my fav. bands.
|
Random but.
I think its hilarious how they list Tim Commerfords name differently in every album. Tim Bob YTim K Timmy C I dont know why i just find that so funny.500th post :chug: |

Has he busted it out with Audioslave yet, because I haven't seen it. |

It was originally a custom, and he pretty much pulled it apart and re-did it from scratch. If my memory serves correctly. Although Ibanez did make him a copy of it for back-up purposes. EDIT: pigonthewing: I think he recorded the Self-titled audioslave album with it, but then retired it. (Although he did use on of the back-ups of it in concert once or twice) |

Actually he bought it at a pawn shop in Toronto, Ontario. :thumb: |
My personal favourite Morello guitar is the one he uses on the LATGOA DVD for Guerrilla Radio. Not sure of the make but I believe it has the Kenyan flag design on it.

Actually he used the one with the Kenyan flag design for "How I Could Just Kill A Man" with Cypress Hill. He used a large hollow body for Guerrilla Radio. What about the other cool guitar that he uses when he plays Clam Like A Bomb on the Grand Olympic DVD? Anyone else think that one looks cool? |

Gotta love Morellos solo on the b-side, "Darkness". And maybe "Sleep Now in the Fire" (live).

So true :thumb: But Is still love my '76 fender tele, it sounds beautiful. |
On a school camp, I was aimlessly walking around in the hall... and then I had a sudden urge to jump. Jump, and scream HOLY SHIAT!!! Jump and scream ROCK DIS MUTHAFUKKA!!!
I then went to one of my friends "man... what was that riff!" and he says "Know Your Enemy by RATM... you haven't heard it before?" Went home.. downloaded song, and after about 3 listens it became extremely bland. LAN, a few months later. "Oh come on, they're not bad. I'll get em". I got all studio albums except for Battle For L.A. Listened to a few songs from self-titled. Same blandness. Listened to Evil Empire. My mind was blown. One of the most excellent albums ever. Now self-titled has grown a tad, and I enjoy them much more. Evil Empire can't be beat for fun and anger. |
