I like the ride. Perfect amount of stick definition and little wash. Dont you agree?

Janeway 01-03-2007 04:12 PM

The guy from MCR uses them.

Kathryn bit her lip and sucked back the bile as the barbed edge tugged it's way down her thigh, clefting the smooth white flesh with a splendiferous scarlet gush that trickled over her knee and coagulated in stickly little puddles on the grubby floor.

Is splendiferous the right word?

Dave*Grohl 01-03-2007 04:13 PM

No.

Cocaberry 01-03-2007 04:19 PM
Off to tune my bass drum heads then finish setting my set up.
So i tuned my bass drum (sounds pretty sick to me) and the rest of my actual drums. Then i started getting stands out to put cymbals on. I got my plastic cymbal case that came free with my B8's and the darn thing wouldn't screw off to open. It must have been cross threaded. I asked my dad for his help and we eventually twisted it but the whole screw went with it. We knew that the case was doomed for so my dad drilled out the center of the screw so the nut could break off. Did that for a hwile but the handle broke off and the nut was still on there. The top of the cymbal case came off but the spacer and the nut were still there keeping the cymbals from being able to come out. We tried chiselling the spacer out (pretty sketchy with $500 worth of cymbals right next to it) but that didn't work. Our only option was to Sawsall the end of the bolt off. This saw right next to all of my cymbals. In the end it all worked out, but just minor scratches on my splash and inside of my top hi-hat.

Moral of the story: Don't trust those free B8 cymbal cases.
