For the record FBI never played Tiger Panic, that was another station. Atlas Weights were played on there though, artist of the week on one of their shows once but that doesn't mean much really. I don't think any of my bands are trendy enough to get played on Triple J, I don't own tight enough jeans.

FBI are great for playing lots of local music but I just don't listen to the radio really.

FBI or FBi for short is an FM radio station in Sydney, it's similar in vibe to Triple J except it doesn't recieve any funding assistance from the government, its money is all from donations and advertising. They are pretty much perpetually struggling to stay alive financially but they are the easiest station to get airplay on if you are a local act.

It's a cryptozoology themed show. Basically the pick a cryptid (whatever, bigfoot, chupacabras, lake monster, etc) and stage a fake documentary with "recovered" Blair Witch style footage mixed with some mythology/trivia. It's pretty sub-par stuff.

Kind of belongs on the Sci-Fi Channel more than it does on Discovery. Sci-Fi Channel used to have Destination Truth which was a guy doing real field research, that could justifiably be put on Discovery Channel but it's kind of funny that the shows are on the reverse channel than they should.

Their policy is that they play 50% Australian music, with 50% of that being Sydney bands. They play heaps of good stuff, usually much better than triple j. They don't play excessive amounts of Aussie hip-hop and boring female singer/guitarists.
