This is either obvious or ridiculous, but I found it helpful to be okay without thinking. Accepting meditation and not viewing it as a negative void in my personality/thought. Instead, it's a refreshing revitalization of the mind. As I said, this may be either obvious or even ridiculous - but it helped me at one point in my life at least.

oh well nm then (kind of) st. pats pays $7.33 an hour + $.76 if you work after four + $1.06 if you work on weekend. so it ends up being about $9 bucks an hour on weekend and $8.06 on week days.

I like GBV, but their mid-career stuff is what does best for me. Like Everywhere with Hellicopters. The early lo-fi stuff is good, but they work well with a little bit better production.

Apparently this guy I'm friends with was saying to people that I'm lazy and I just bludge all the time. I was kind of angry at first, but then I realised who gives a ****.

I went to see Hot Fuzz last night, it was awesome. Except the whole row behind me was taken up by high school-age azns who kept kicking my seat. I considered moving but I didn't get to the theater early so I could get a rough foot massage from the Viet Cong.

I was a volunteer today and helped pick up garbage along the riverbank. I also ate my first veggieburger ever and it was delicious.

i woke up at 1 and layed around all day

Jammed with some new friends in a garage/bedroom for two hours
Went to a music store with them for an hour
Hiked through the woods with them for two hours

This was a good day

I woke up 2, but that was eastern time, so I guess you win. I hate sleeping in saturdays only because I got so little sleep during the week. I don't think I got more than 4 hours of sleep any night this week, and I didn't have a reason for it except for the night I stayed up until 5:30 to write a paper. : /

I always figured veggieburgers would be gross, but they must be good or something. Beef in patty form is my favorite food.

fu[I]c[/I]k, im watching Earth 2100 on the discovery channel, and it's really depressing me, because it's talking about how as the temperatures increase the food production will go down in tropical and subtropical areas and said areas will dry out and become deserts.

it seems like all non-fiction shows on tv recently have all been really depressing/about really depressing things.

live life to the fullest and you won't feel so bad.

today i:
1. went out with friends for breakfast
2. bought a cd ([I]Swing Sensations [/I]- Various Artists..$2 - bargain of the century!)
3. Watched the film [I]Adaptation[/I] (with Nicholas Cage) with some friends - great movie
4. Went to some Jewsih ceremony to honour all the fallen Israeli soldiers throughout Israel's history (Yom Hazikaron anyone?) but it kinda sucked and was far away.

what a day.

My friend told me to go out and buy a CD for him, and I'm really hoping he's gonna pay me back.

You should have got the money from him before buying it.
