About me

Hi Guys, thought I would drop some info about me.

I'm 26 yrs old. I've been playing drums since I was 12 (with a few breaks inbetween). I recently moved to Texas from Florida. I play Jazz, Blues, Rock, Funk, and Heavy mostly.

I have 3 kits. I only use 2 of them though.

I love cars just as much as drums. I think my taste in cars matches my taste in drums too.

umm, that's about it.

Thanks!

Talos 01-02-2007 08:15 AM

^ Dude, awesome Starc. man, thats gona be the next kit im getting but in a custom made White Sparkle finish. But ill be stuck with my current kit for a few years lol.

Thanks!

Any China under 16" is really mainly a effects cymbals. I love the sound of my 12" China. I think you will be pleased with any China. What brand are you looking at? I love my Wuhans and they are cheap as mud!

Talos 01-02-2007 08:34 AM

Either Stagg or good ol' Wuhan, I have one of their 10" Trad. Splashes and its beautiful lol.

Sunshine 01-02-2007 09:24 AM

Arrgh, school starts tomorrow.

But that's cool, college doesn't start 'til the 8th.

Yay lack of an English class.

Ludwigdrummer: welcome!
British Boy: rofl, thanks for the entertainment once again.
Sunshine: I'm back to college tomorrow :(

My DW hi-hat stand arrived today, I am very pleased with it indeed. (recommended by sLarkin, thank you!)

Sunshine 01-02-2007 09:37 AM

Aww, poor Carl.

Yeah, community college here is like. Always on break. So that's cool, I almost never have English.

I'm actually good at the whole English thing, but for it to count as high school credit I *have* to take 101/102, and it's so basic, elementary and retarded...but still better than the English 12 teachers at Buena.

Can anyone help? I burnt a CD that has a PC game on it using Nero and selected to Create a Data Disc, when the burn was complete I put it back in the drive. It seemed it was loading a setup.exe or something but no, a window comes up with x.bin and x.cue (x represents file name). Nothing runs, any ideas on how I can get it to work?

maniac0796 01-02-2007 10:26 AM

Was the game copy protected?

Talos 01-02-2007 10:33 AM

I dont think so

Retarded Chipple 01-02-2007 10:45 AM

They are image files.
Use an application like Alcohol 120% to mount an image file to a virtual drive, or use Nero to burn the image file to a disc.
The image files contain all the game data, such as setup.exe.

Ahh....classic song. I've played that in jazz band a couple times. My conductor for concert band had us play a version of that once, but we all hated it (the arrangement) so he didn't have us play it.
