Right..this is a long one...So we were going to perform at the battle of the bands and we had a 15 minute set consisting of paranoid, nothing else matters and our best original...first our third guitarists amp blew out..and though the judges didnt the band that was up next counted that as our time...so we got through paranoid and nothing else matters...and as we start the piano intro on remember me...what happens...the guitarist from the next band up comes and unplugs me...at this point im ready to slug him in the face but i figured it just wasnt worth it...then to top it off they went 10 ****ING MINUTES OVER THE 15 MINUTES THEY HAD...AND THEY SUCKED TOO!!

I'm Agnostic so I have no problem with gay people.
And I quote Monty Python:
"There's nothing an agnostic can't do if he doesn't know if he believes in anything or not."
I'm Agnostic so I have no problem with gay people.
i dont eather, i just think that since marrage has been between a man and a woman since the start of time (according to the bible) that it should stay that way.

Dieforitall89 02-01-2005 06:25 PM

I just don't really care as long as they don't like hit on me or something..

rybass 02-01-2005 06:27 PM

Well marriage is defined as a sanction between a man and a woman so technicallity gays can't get married.

Left Shoe 02-01-2005 06:29 PM
Well marriage is defined as a sanction between a man and a woman so technicallity gays can't get married.
thats why i want do away with marriage as a legal thing and make the legal term civil union, then make the religious part marrige, because tax benefits of being married

here in canada they are trying ot change that, in fact it goes before parliment this week. also the only thing that i have against "gay" marrage is the word marrage being applyed to homosexuals. i say give them all the same rights under the law, but don't let them call it marrage. better yet, take all the rights under the law away from marrage, making it of no realy benifit to be married (from a legal standpoint, not a moral one) and then theis whole issue would blow over.

Dieforitall89 02-01-2005 06:33 PM

Anyone know if they sell CT cream at drug stores..?

BassVirtuoso 02-01-2005 06:34 PM

I don't understand the difference. I thought marriage was the union of souls. You just can't define love.

rybass 02-01-2005 06:34 PM

mostly. if you look into it i believe that homosexuals want to be equal, and i think that they look on the equal part as having the same benifits as a married couple does, if you take away the benifit then i my opinion they are equal.

benefit*
im looking at it for tax purposes, homosexuals do not get the same things as married heteros do, gays can do the same things you could do with your property to a friend legally

christianity has become over hyped. true christianity is a relstionship with jesus chrust and through him a relationship with God (jahova) and the holy sprit. what mainstream christianity has done is basicly turn it back into jewdism where if you don't follow a bunch of rules you are going to hell. but since God is all forgiving you can kill 3 million people and ask for forgivness and still go to heaven. now i am not saying to do this because that just woldn't be right, you are suposed ot stay away from sinning. but since amnkind has fallen no one is perfict and we all sin. thats why God still forgives us. i don't like calling myself a christian for the reasions that i stated above, because christianity wasn't suspossed to be a religion, it was supossed to be a way of life. the term christian didn't devlope until about 150 (don't quote me on the amout please) after Jesus died and rose again.

thats what i am saying give them that right, because they deserve it. just please don't call it marrage. the bible says to love all of mankind and homosexuals are people as well, and in this whole debate on the sme sex issue that is often forgotten
