Wow, I got a lot of work done today. Now I have to do alll my reading.

Pluperfect_Arson 09-10-2009 08:04 PM

So, I went around this corner sharply, had pedal strike, tried to correct, handlebars jerked to the right, feet came out of the cages, flew off my bike, bounced off the ground, hit my head (sans helmet), and landed in front of an SUV with this woman staring in shock.

I figured my 165mm cranks and high bottom bracket would be able to handle that.
I guess not.

It is a bonus.

Then you buy a new car so that you can impress the ladies and easily carry all of your rig + a couple basses and some PA equipment.

Then you have to budget again. *sigh*

Shipped my Aria out today. It's set to arrive on the 15th, at which time PayPal will let me have my $528.89 so I can put my damn bass in the shop and pay my billz.

Were you pedaling around the corner? Or were you just leaning so much that you managed to hit the pedal on the ground?

I really don't know if I want a car. Maybe at some point, but I don't have nearly enough money for that.

Big Wheel is direct drive, dudebro.

Sablate McNuff 09-10-2009 09:46 PM

Ok, fact of the matter is that, if the wheels turn, the pedals are moving.

Pluperfect_Arson 09-10-2009 09:56 PM

Good enough for the track, good enough for the street!

funkyhoney 09-10-2009 10:18 PM

Some would say too good and an unnecessary road-riding addition.

Pluperfect_Arson 09-11-2009 12:30 AM

If they had an SD capabilities, I'd totally buy some just to have music with me while working out.
