The best way to find new music is to go to Record company sites, and then look at their "links" section. That will lead you to other record companies, and etc.

The Killing Moon is a cool band. I've been meaning to get their new album for a while.

What do you do?

I usually type in something like Converge or Poison The Well, and then search people's files if they aren't queued to **** and their download speed is decent.

This never really works for finding new music.

Going to chatrooms is almost never fruitfull...either I can't search the person's files, or the music is all crap.

I download random bands mentioned in other forums here. And then get random stuff from Spence and Brian sometimes.

I have a really long user list, so I go into people's music, and find a band that I've been meaning to check out, or just something that sounds interesting.

The only way I'd have of getting a user list is through the method I mentioned before..which, as I said, doesn't work well. I have enough users that I need to scroll to see all of them, but it isn't often when more than say 5 are on at the same time.

"Meaning to check out" means that you heard them before you saw them. That's my problem, downloading isn't the problem, it's finding out what to download.

"Sounds interesting" is what I've been doing. Almost never works, though :p
