Scandalous

B 01-18-2006 07:01 AM

o noes

I'm sure he didn't care much at the time, but I bet he does now that it made so much money. He'd get a 1/12 of whatever money they made off the album . Which is not much because the record company gets all that money.

the band gets aprox $8 australian per album sold. I nearly 100% sure travis recorded mutt.
here is some reasons
1. Thats just unpractically to have 1 song recorded by another drummer.
2. the drum kit sounds the same through out the album. And travis and scotts usually sound very different
3. scott never did the drum fill at the start of the song.
4. and the drumming isnt scotts style

it is scott. Get over it.

Whos to say they didnt use a standard kit at the studio and they both recorded on the same one? And to me, the styles dont sound much different.

16 Nipples 01-18-2006 10:17 AM

Na it is Travis, I have the original Mutt recording with Scott, and the drumming is completely different than it is on EOTS.

Agent_Orange 01-18-2006 10:36 AM

While we are on th subject. Have you guys noticed that Scott loved to ride the cymbols hard and just put little breaks in here and there with the snare but never really did a lot of anything else. Whereas Travis is a more tech. drummer and uses every aspect of his set. Hince the reason he is the greatest drummer EVER.

I agree, it is Scott but there styles are different. Scott laid down hard on the snare Travis has a more suddle approach. I think Travis plays in a 1/4, whereas Scots 7/8.

ahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahah

/breathes

Comparing Travis to Scott and then saying he is the best drummer ever because he's better than Scott is laughable. As I'm sure you've noticed.

Lawl. Travis is good, but there are way better drummers, and we don't need to go into the topic again.

B 01-18-2006 02:54 PM

I'm starting to think I should stay out of here before the idiocy rubs off.

B 01-18-2006 03:13 PM

Sup half the drummers out there.

HitHardDrums55 01-18-2006 05:03 PM

i saw a video on that whole google video thing and mark did a little short tiny slap riff...it was smooth, so i was kind of shocked...i cant remember which video it was but it had a number at the beginning of the name in the studio i think for the newest album if i remember correctly

B 01-18-2006 05:21 PM

Probably one from the guy that runs their site. There's a bunch up from him, like on about Travis' snare skillz.
