I got Ummagumma yesterday, finally. I no longer have to listen to it only on album.

The live album is ace, but the studi album is kinda meh. It still has it's moments though.

I just played through the epic that is Echoes.

Some parts I had to improvise, but the majority of it I know.

Now for SOYCD! I think I'll record this one.

Pink Floyd are going to be on the cover of the next edition of Classic Rock magazine everyone about how they broke up and stuff I think which seems a bit foolish considering they did a fairly large feature on the same thing on the issue before this.

Thanks :thumb: I usually try to get the tone as close as possible when playing that or Echoes, but for some reason it didn't occur to me to fix it before I played. Meh, it's not like I would've had Gilmour's tone anyways.

As far as the title goes, I like The Great Thread In the Sky.

magicbus - You need to work on muting strings alot more. The backing track should have been mixed higher and you hit a few out of key bends. It also seems your guitar is out of tune when you are playing those chords around 7:30. The solo isn't very technically hard yet I hear open strigns almost every lick you play. Work on muting most of all.

But your timming was pretty good and you cudos for memorizing all that.\

The backing song was actually playing in the background on my stereo, it was faintly recorded on the mic, which was next to my amp. But yea, I realize I do need to work on muting strings, I'm just not sure how to practice that :/

Try using your palm to rest forward on the bridge, slightly dampening the strings you aren't playing, then move it off when you want to play them. It works wonders.

That Dub Side Of The Moon album is ace. My favourite track is Speak To Me/Breathe, actually.

I saw it at the store, but I'd never heard of it, so I didn't get it. I might now, I'm not gonna download it though

On the LAP: director's cut, you can hear dave and Rick muttering about it, although its hard to catch exactly what they're saying.
