Harvest never really hit me like it seems to do for everyone else... I actually prefer Patterns In The Ivy... that song is just so perfect... and its nice to hear before Blackwater Park. :D
when did this happen, or you just screwing around...arr:upset: im so lost man.
my favourite album is ghost reveries, surprisingly, i like ghost of perdition. but if i picked a song from BWP, id have to choose The drapery falls and harvest. both have great vocals.
I'm pretty sure he is kidding.. I mean, would Mikael ask the main character from the concept of another album to Denny's, the restaraunt? I really hope that was a joke. |
My favorite Opeth track remains Godhead's Lament. I don't know why, but that song just blows me away. It's really hard to pick 1 track, but that would be mine.

Too short. :( I'm not sure what my favorite from BWP would be. It'd probably be between Bleak and The Drapery Falls, although "The Funeral Portrait" is very underrated IMO. |

''Searching my way to perplexion, ahhh ahhh ahhh In crumbling faith I saw her Bearing her pain in the wilderness ahh ahh ahh The gleam of her eyes In that moment she knew...raaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaawrrrr!!!'' Yeah, great tune man, I love that song. :D |

AIM is from AOL, right? We don't use it that much here. Almost noone has AIM, or even know what it is, for that matter.

Well AOL is AMERICAN Online. |
Agreed, this whole page has been spam.
..So whats everyone's favorite song from BWP? :amaze:
Probably Harvest. It's a great album but probably one of my least favorite Opeth albums. Just doesn't quite compare to their best stuff |

Its one of their best, IMO. |

I second. |
Harvest is a great song. I love listening to it, especially on road trips. I still like Bleak the most though. God that song is badass!
|

That's funny, because I talk to someone from the Netherlands pretty much daily on it. |
I like I said before,
Harvest and Bleak are my favs. Overall Opeth favs also. |

Tonight I was out for a walk and it was full moon and the sky was really clear...man, I wished I had brought a CD player and Orchid along.
I almost peeded myself taking a walk like your listening to ghost reveries. |
Opeth is the best walking music :D
Well actually Dream Theater's not bad (Long songs are good I reckon). And yeah, walking at night is the best :thumb: |
I got my first opeth album off itunes tonight... Damnation...
In my time of need is a cool song... |

You're a piece of ***** you cock cunt ****** damn.
This is just to see what happens. Hey, I can type Damnation now! |
Just got back from the LA/Hollywood show and it was great! It was my first opeth show so I didn't know what to expect, but Mikael is a really cool guy. He interacts really well with the crowds and gets them going.
The setlist was sweet: The Baying of the Hounds (my favorite) When Bleak In my time of need The Grand Conjuration The Moor Deliverance Blackwater Park Demon of the Fall (encore) - It was sweet how they left after blackwater park and nobody left, then they came out and jammed to DOTF. I realized blackwater park sounds great live and the double bass is really long compared to most of their songs. Baying of the hounds was my favorite out of the tracks, but I couldn't hear Per during the beautiful chorus in the middle of the song (my favorite part of the entire cd). It was still good to hear the song and the ending was sweet with the double bass thumping the entire venue. - There was cool drum solo by Axenrot (replacement drummer), and I think he was doing blast beats at one point - The also jammed to Michael Jackson with Axenrot on drums and Mendez doing bass, lol |
 Did you just make fun of Gene Hoglan? He is the man. I met him actually, after a Strapping Young Lad concert. He's mountainous.
If you've seen the video for "Ghost of Perdition" you'll know what I'm talking about.
As far as I know, it wasn't Gene on the set the other night.....didn't recognize the bands the drummer was from, but it certainly wasn't SYL or Death. Some guy with long blonde hair. For the record, I think Hoglan is even sicker drummer than Martin.....the drumming on the last SYL album is my favorite in a while. |

Last but not least.......I'd take Dirge for November off BW. Nobody else on that wavelength? That song could have been written by Mozart, its so classic and amazing.
