Bedrovelse 04-07-2005 12:10 PM

go and give him the evil eye all night...so he gets paranoid and buggers up,
do this at every gig,

Can have 2 bass players u know.;) no, i like to be one of a kind... one of the reasons i dont play guitar..

on the bright side.. the tribute band is considering fireing the bassist cause he aint enough "harris"..

on the down side.. im moving away on school for a year soon :p

PaulR 04-07-2005 12:20 PM

Ah that sucks.

I guess just wait til you move to the new area and find a new band.

Thunder Fingers 04-07-2005 12:24 PM

im not gonna find a band there.. im gonna play with people at the school... i wonder if i can find enough people for a rush tribute and a Iron Maiden Tribute band there...

Thunder Fingers 04-07-2005 12:28 PM

meh.. i hope spesific music store in my town can get rotosounds in, i have never seen them carry them, but they are selling tickets for the Marcus Miller Clinic.... and i ditch the gig... i cant aford it... and even how amazing he is ill just be standing there be bored..(cause really, i find no excitement in jazz...)

Thunder Fingers 04-07-2005 12:30 PM

Why don't you just order them from the internet?

Depends on how much P&P is I guess.

Thunder Fingers 04-07-2005 12:34 PM

its cheaper to get them in the store.... and if i get them in the store, i can buy the clinic ticket at the same time...

kilian 04-07-2005 12:35 PM

Jazz is NICE!
I'm going to perform a little jazz song (5 min.) tomorrow for 500 people, how do you call that.. school talent show? You can join if you have something to perform for the audience :thumb:

Thunder Fingers 04-07-2005 12:42 PM

kilian 04-07-2005 12:43 PM
Are you playing by yourself?
I am playing bass together with drums, keyboard and a guitar :)
Or didn't you mean that?

Without feelings, music is useless ;)
It isn't all about scales, I think you're listening to the wrong jazz..

Our own composition.. Kind of funny though, we start with some rock lines.. just plain simple ones. For about 45 seconds, to make fun of it. And then all of a sudden, the music stops and the piano comes in again with the jazz kind of stuff :)

That sounds cool. I've never played my own material live.

I hope to do something soon though.

kilian 04-07-2005 12:50 PM

Pluperfect_Arson 04-07-2005 12:55 PM
becouse i dont like it, i find it realy boring.
I find that jazz is fun to play (I played tenor saxophone and flute for my old school's jazz band), but to listen to it is boring as hell.

That's why I don't listen to that much of it.

I'm more into the jazz-fusion type stuff that's really whacked out when I do listen to jazz which is rare.

Pluperfect_Arson 04-07-2005 12:57 PM

I'm heading off to lunch. I'll be back when I get home later.

About page 3466: Oops! I guess I read it wrong... Oh and I didnt know we were talking about musical famous people! I thought you meant in general :)

Seriously, you wont hate him as much as you'll hate dickens... Great Expectations... Oh how i hated that book!

And we have had to read about 30 poems and annotate, then write about them all... The Anthology book is what we're doing it from. I hate it!

Yeah... sorry... but i like shakespeare

fatbandit 04-07-2005 01:12 PM
