Yeah. The spector is nice to, but the contrast seems to be a little to strong.

If it's any consolation, I'm not 100% decided on a single cut for my custom.

I like quilted maple and i though a lot of people did. I agree that the spector's shape is contraversial but still its not that bad. ::bongo::

It takes a damn nice piece of quilte maple to please me. I've only ever seen 3 or 4 QM tops that I can actually stand.

I don't mind the look of the Bongo. I don't think it's beautiful or anything, but I don't think it's ugly either.

Yeah, exactly.

I'd have it modified slightly to be my own design, of course, but I like it. I'm quite fond of that upper horn.

It is a pretty nice looking bass. And I agree, the upper horn is pretty cool.

Normally I don't like it when basses have that little groove behind the bridge, but it seems to work well with that body shape.

I think i might get the Q6 if i can see the bass before i buy it.

If I'm not mistaken, Wintermute has that bass. I'd ask him what he has to say about it.

Obviously that's not testing it out, but he should be able to give you some information about what it's like.

Yeah. There's a site out there that one of his customers made that has a ton of pictures of his instruments on it (more than his site has). I need to find it.
