Slow down BCT, take a deep breath, and type it out slowly using punctuation.

Greg Ginn 07-02-2006 01:52 PM

Hey, I'm not trying to be a d!ck. I was just wondering what the deal is with it.

Microwave meals & ideals 07-02-2006 01:56 PM

Wouldn't this have been better in the DIY thread? Plus your response makes you look like a cock.

Spam!

justin toxicated 07-02-2006 03:44 PM

on not-so-careful reading of my post, its pretty obvious that i posted it to inform whoever cares about the update to stencil punks. i dont need "why the **** would you post this"-esque ignorant replies.

Ghostfire3 07-02-2006 04:31 PM

Can you tell us what some of the new stencils are?

BCT 07-02-2006 04:46 PM
Slow down BCT, take a deep breath, and type it out slowly using punctuation.
BCT 07-02-2006 05:02 PM

does everbody use stencil punks.com or does any one design their own stencils i just look at the new thread about their update

coheneran 07-02-2006 05:04 PM

I do my own sometimes, or make one on photoshop from famous pictures.

Do you mean like hand draw stencils? I've never hand drawn my stencils. I've only used stencilpunx or found logos elsewhere.

We fear change!

faith and fiction 07-02-2006 06:52 PM

Yeah this is lame

If you honestly think you're DIY by making a stencil from someone else's art/ideas then you are a gay

Be original, come up with your own stencils

justin toxicated 07-02-2006 07:47 PM

you're not saying anything i havn't heard before. i'm not claiming to be uber cool or a visionary or anything. im simply supplying people with some stencils they're interested in.

and i do make my own stencils, i just dont take pictures of my work and plaster them all over the internet.

coheneran 07-02-2006 07:51 PM

Only people who call other people gay without proof are gay! Now stop being semantically homophobic.

But you're right, we're obviously wasting our time making Aquabats and Antifa shirts, we should go buy them from Amazon instead.

POINTLESS5448 07-03-2006 10:36 AM

^ hey man amazon rules. ive never bought cloths off of there before.
jodan did you recut that stencil or fix the old one
which stencil?

i decided yesterday that im going to make 2 suits. one for prom and hte other for homecoming. for one of them im going to apprehend a white suit and do it like i did that shirt with wutang all over it in a bunch of different colors. for the second one im going to get 2 suits of different colors (im thinking black and yellow) and im going to cut them in half and sew them to eachother so half of the suit is black and the other half is yellow. it will take some doing but i think i can do it.

p.s: brett, where the hell are you? what country are you in?

coheneran 07-03-2006 11:14 AM

Amazon are completely evil. Buy off play.com instead.

Sid Ramone 07-06-2006 03:50 AM

hey i have a question,

im painting up a button down shirt for a costume (im dressing up as a zombie) and im wondering how would i apply the red paint so it looks like blood splatters?

thanx

coheneran 07-06-2006 04:57 AM

The best tactic would probably be to load up a paint brush heavily with the paint and then splatter it onto the shirt.

Spenser 07-06-2006 08:22 AM
The best tactic would probably be to load up a paint brush heavily with the paint and then splatter it onto the shirt.
Yes. Load the brush, then pull back the bristles with your thumb and let them snap back, splattering the paint on the shirt. I painted parts of my room in the same fashion. Also be sure to do this out side or with a good backdrop as it will probably get messy.

coheneran 07-06-2006 10:28 AM

But then the splatters will be long and thin, and won't look so much like blood splatter. I think it's better to just pull your army back and bring it forward (as if you were hammering a nail) to splash the paint onto the cloth. Probably best to experiment with different methods though and choose your favourite.

Lukeh 07-06-2006 11:44 AM

A long time ago I promised to post a load of the DIY stuff I'd been working on and now that I've got a camera back, I can now post them.

This one's a You Say Party! We Say Die! t-shirt I did, and freehanded gaps left with the stencil - http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d10/Lukehh/YouSayParty.jpg

iam2000pounds 07-06-2006 03:41 PM

That's a wicked good shirt.

That stuff looks cool.
