Nice. Double Nickels = one of my favourite albums.

I'm still digging Dead Kennedys. Fresh Fruit For Rotting Vegetables is an awesome punk record.

You're saying it like he's new to Alt/Indie.

PS Nice name.
I'm still digging Dead Kennedys. Fresh Fruit For Rotting Vegetables is an awesome punk record.
Definitely. In fact, I would go so far as to say American punk > British punk. By a long shot.

Thanks.

I got this great Peter Tosh acoustic set off this radio show. He's a better guitar player then Marley, IMO.

Robert Crumb 07-23-2005 07:39 PM

I've got an evenin' with Stevie.

Music of My Mind
Talking Book
Innervisions

They're all gonna get the writeup treatment, sooner than later.

Sly and The Family Stone - There's a Riot Going On

I bought this album about 6 months ago and at first listen I thought it was crap. Everytime I listen to it I like it more and more. Right now I would probably give this album a 4.5/5. Family Affair is seriously one of the greatest R&B/Soul tracks ever.

Edit:

Could you YSI that?

I think I'm finally ready to open up to Sonic Youth. I hated them the first time I heard them, and wanted nothing to do with their music. Then a few months ago I had the urge to hear "Teenage Riot" for some odd reason, and found myself enjoying it. Now I'm listening to Daydream Nation, with intent to let it play the whole way through, and I think I'm going to appreciate this band on some level.
